Dr Meade has done 4 knee surgeries on me. Mainly because I abuse my body to much. I'm putting him to the test one more time. He definitely is the best of the best! Thank you Dr. Meade!

I had a total knee replacement 2 weeks ago, was driving within a week as well as going back to work part time.
Would highly recommend Dr. Meade.

I had a double knee replacement by Dr Meade. The results were nothing but outstanding. I have absolutely no restrictions and live pain free. It is the best thing I ever did. I was able to go to a restaurant 6 days after surgery only using a cane.

Knee started sounding and feeling like rice crispies back around 1996. Pain restricted activities. Had 2 arthroscopies, 2000 and 2010. Always putting off joint replacement due to fears and longevity (7-10 years). Why? Dr Meade restored my mobility, took away my pain, 30 year longevity. Do not wait. Do it now. Great experience. Friendly staff, committed care givers. I walked to my car 2 hours after surgery. Swift path method is the ticket to normal life.

I already had a knee replacement when I met Dr Meade so I had something to compare. Although I am pleased with my first replacement, Dr Meade's surgery was superior. I was hospitalized for the first one and in & out for the second. I even attended Dr Meade's presentation on his knee replacement surgery later that same night. I used a total of 1 1/2 of my narcotics during my recovery as compared to around the clock dosing my first surgery. The most amazing part though was how quickly my knee returned to full function. I was almost back to full flexion and extension by my 2 week post OP visit. I had limitation due to still having swelling. Dr Meade is a treasure.

I honestly do not know how this physician is still practicing? ! This doctor performed two arthroscopic procedures on my knee telling me they would just be clean up’s. Typically referred to as arthroscopic procedure/surgery. This would be for the purpose of removing arthritic debris and scar tissue. Instead, Both procedures were very aggressive, Never explained as a possibility.
Dr. Meade advised me on my first visit that I was in need of a total knee replacement, Yet he got two more procedures which were so aggressive in nature that he caused the outcome for my total knee replacement to have a detrimental And negative impact for life!

First procedure was a lateral release which to my understanding is now being considered barbaric and Actually, after the fact and to date, I have heard many times by some professionals in the same field that this procedure is going to be eliminated completely, due to its lasting permanent damage, negative impact, and the fact that it does not ever heal.
Our bodies will constantly try to heal, soThis is a problem In and by itself.
The second procedure he cut into my patella.
This doctor in my personal view, Accompanied by my very negative experience and outcome is negligent and has extremely poor judgment and assessment capability’s in regards to what is too much or too little, Not being precise enough in his clarity with his patients regarding what he States he is going to do, and what he actually does when he Performs the surgery. Sometimes Emergency situations will cause a good Physician to do something radical or excessive, however in this case, clearly no emergency. These errors resulted from nothing short of sloppiness and incompetence, And caused a negative outcome for my total knee replacement which he knew was in my near future, which further should tell all that he should not have done extreme surgical procedures knowing I was going to need a total knee replacement in the near future!
These facts I am discussing here all could have been avoided, very simply.

Why would any logical, good practicing physician perform any aggressive procedures Prior to a total knee replacement knowing that was in the near future?
Please do not make any decisions by good reviews only.
Marketing, especially good marketing, Has a huge impact! Some Professionals bank on this.
Marketing is far too often much better than what lies behind it!

All this doc cares about is the almighty dollar. I’d be writing a book if I would share in complete detail the sheer hell my husband when through due to his faulty knee replacement. Now 3 years later my husband had a complete revision (Meades tkr removed and a whole new knee put in). This revision was done in Reading, Pa by Dr T. Three weeks post surgery and my husband is COMPLETELY pain free for the first time in many years! Stay clear.seems the only thing he operates is a knee factory!

Dr Meade, his office staff, PT staff at Pittston and the staff at Coordinated Health in Bethlehem were excellent they answered all of my questions and treated me so kindly. I am so very happy with the knee replacement I had and don't know why I waited so long. I am able to enjoy life and activities again. Thank you so much.

Dr Meade has done four knee operations on me two which were replacements and one where I tore my ACL, MCL and Meniscus (left knee) and a minor repair on my right knee to hold me over until I could get the replacement. He was amazing! I’ve healed beautifully all times. The physical therapy group was so great too! Really nice people. Dr Meade is my hero. Thank you so much for everything!

Dr. Meade was excellent. Had a torn meniscus in right knee. Fixed it. Knee has never felt better. The best part was that no prescriptions drugs were needed. His entire staff is awesome. Very friendly and professional. I would recommend everyone go see Dr. Meade if you have problems with your knees. Everyone at Coordinated Health was also very friendly and professional.
