Our family lived at the TW Apartments in between owning two houses. The building management and staff are absolutely fantastic! Very responsive and always there to help the tenants. Convient location to Narberth and Lower Merion activities and stores. Easy move in, easy move out. Great walking and nice parks nearby.

Awesome place to live! Wonderful Kathryn in the office and all the gentlemen who work the grounds and interior are wonderful! So many maintenance crew members- it’s amazing! Very clean- brand new windows and laundry rooms! Everyone who lives here has a smile on their face as they greet you, even in these difficult days- The Thomas Wynne staff is incredible- safety first, always! Such a safe place to live- always security on the premises- 24/7- my apt is huge and my walk in closet is phenomenal! I love living here! It will be 4 years soon and I’m staying!

Secondhand smoke is a problem here. Tenants can smoke in the units here and heavy smokers create problems for some neighboring tenants. The building would be close to perfect if the owners updated their antiquated smoking policy. Until they do, I would avoid these apartments.

If you're unlucky enough to live above a chain smoker, as I do, your apartment will be filled with smoke. This is the 21st century. We know that secondhand smoke causes cancer and also puts us at risk for complications of COVID-19. It is shameful that the building owners don't require smokers to smoke outside. If you care about your health, do not rent here.

For some inexplicable reason, the Thomas Wynne owners allow smoking in the units, instead of requiring smokers to smoke outside. I live above a chain smoker, and my apartment is filled with smoke. This is dangerous and unacceptable. Do not rent here until they change the policy. This is the 21st century. We know that secondhand smoke causes cancer, not to mention COVID-19 complications. What are these people thinking? They are putting their tenants at risk. Shameful.

Can they not amend their dangerous policy and require smokers to smoke outside? Until they enter the 21st century, do not rent here.

Horrible place to live. The hallways smell like cigarettes, the neighbors are snobs and very rude, the paint is peeling off the walls, and parking is ridiculous. Everyone finds the need to take up two spots.

The staff of Thomas Wynne Apartments are very friendly and extremely helpful. Whenever I had a problem with my one bedroom it was always solved within the day by the staff. The surrounding grounds are always clean and maintained. Snow in the winter is always shoveled out of the way and the sidewalks salted. Other residents in the building are very friendly to be with as well. Being across the shops makes it easy to grab something I'd forgotten to pick up or do early morning shopping. Not having a car, the train station makes it easy to get into the city or out towards KOP. Great place to live.

I like Thomas Wynne Apartments a lot! Spacious rooms, nice halls, beautiful views from enormous windows, clean environment, friendly and professional staff. I moved here recently from New York and found this place amazing. Really. I've read the review below about smoking and didn't agree with it. First of all, smoking is not allowed in the building, but how can you prevent people from smoking inside their apartments? It is hard to control. Also, the building is big and a lot of people live here. When you live in an apartment building you are surrounded by people. Of course, people cook, smoke, etc. However, the building is very well maintained in terms of ventilation and smells don't stay for a long. Some people smoke. So, what a big deal. You can't change a world.

Thomas Wynne Apartments
Negatives: no central ac (must pay an additional fee for older ac units), can be very loud (could hear baby crying next door), the electrical could not handle powering many appliances at once (both the kitchen, living room, and exterior hallway were on the same breaker) causing the power to shut off (very annoying esp.when it happens when you are on vacation and come home to a frig full of rotten food), very small gym, bathrooms are older with little sink/cabinet space, was a dead zone for my cellphone (i have verizon, fyi my b/f has at&t and his worked fine), older style heaters (temperature control was off, many times we had our windows open in the winter), windows were older and oddly shaped (not efficient and difficult if you want to get your own ac unit), when you get food delivered you have to meet them at the front door (yes im lazy), no ice maker in frig

Positives: the one bedroom apt was very spacious, beautiful hardwoods with build in bookcase, pretty french doors in dining area, new updated kitchen that was very functional, all utilities were included which could be a downfall but i liked only having one bill every month (in addition to comcast), the large walk-in front closet was handy, the view of the woods was great with lots of sunlight, 24 hr.on staff person was helpful the times I forgot my key, office staff was polite, maintenance staff came within 24 hrs of complaint (but were not very knowledgeable or handy about how to fix things (were only interested in a quick fix, not concerned with long term), they sign for your packages and deliver them to your door, book swap within building, mailroom with bike rack, every tenant got a storage unit (approx 5ft x 5) in the basement which came in handy, parking was rarely a problem (i always found a spot but maybe one in twenty times had to park on the other side of the building), my boyfriend had a motorcycle and car plus i had a car and that was never a problem, everyone in the building was very friendly, there was a grace pd for rent (for those of us that forget), the building and grounds were always very clean and well maintained, elevators were fairly large for the age of the building, for a fee there was a heated reserved garage parking in the basement, wonderful neighborhood, very safe (as a female I always felt very safe coming and going late at night), two train stations are very close (5 min walk), shopping center and downtown narberth are close walking distance, returned our security deposit within a week of moving out

*i never used the laundry facilities here so i cant comment on that

All in all, we really loved living here and would definitely recommend it.
