Timber Tie Estate, Tyrone PA

This is such a beautiful venue for any event you can dream up! So much room to implement all sorts of creative and unique ideas; the possibilities are truly endless. The location feels wonderfully secluded while still being in a great central location to both the Altoona and State College area!

I visited Timber Tie Estate today. What a beautiful venue with so many possibilities. Very picturesque and would perfect for an outdoor event.

Great outdoor setting with a beautiful pond. They keep the grounds very clean and tidy. Lots of parking with restrooms right there.

The grounds are beautiful. This is a great place for an outdoor wedding. I love that they incorporate the huge pond and the fire ring. The staff have been so amazing and helpful as well.

The scenery was beautiful, especially with the fall leaves. The fountain in the middle of the pond was pretty and made some nice pictures.

Ohhh Timber Tie?

We had our wedding here almost a year ago and wow… it was soooo dreamy. Unlike many other girls, I wasn’t one to dream much about my wedding day til close to my engagement. When it was time to plan and figure out where we wanted to have our big day, this stood out by far!

A few things that stood out to us was how nice they were. Answered all our questions and made us feel safe in their hands. Also, the fact that they were so flexible and accommodating. We were able to drop things off if needed and check out the venue leading up to the wedding with the photographers, videographer and to catch more vision.

It being the peak of fall, everything was changing colors and along with the pond, the gazebo, fire pit, the beautiful trees it didn’t need much more added for the whimsy look it already had.

I would recommend Timber Tie to anyone! It was affordable, offered sooo much parking to our nearly 300 guests, it has natural beauty and you can make your dream wedding into a reality.

We loved Timber Tie Estates! The pond and firepit were a highlight for our children. John and Loni are very accommodating!

I had the absolute pleasure of providing photography coverage at Timber Tie and as someone with almost a decade of experience in the Wedding industry the staff and owners are second to none as well as the location itself is one of the most beautiful venues I've covered and I hope to shoot many more in the future!
