Tire Town Inc, State College PA

I contacted TireTown asking for a quote for 4 new tires since they don't have prices listed on their website. Even though I listed the make and model of my car in my initial email, they said they couldn't give me a quote unless I told them the size of my tire. I responded with my tire size, and never heard back from them. At this point, it's been nearly 3 weeks with no response, so I ended up going elsewhere for tires. Perhaps if I had called in, there would have been better customer service, but I wanted an email quote so I'd have something in writing. Given their poor customer service, I doubt I'll ever use any of their services in the future.

Went to get an inspection done, had a bad tire which was fine but what wasn't fine they tried selling me a USED tire for almost $150. I brought my own tire in instead, paid for everything, they didn't even put the tire on after waiting 30+ mins then told me I was good to go. Had to go back in to get my tire put on. Got home just to find out they lost the screws for my splash guard, so it was barley hanging on. So now I have to buy new screws and put it back on myself, never again.

This shop saved our vacation! Took us in right away when we arrived and got us on our way in a hour. They are the best business I have dealt with. Highly recommended.

Traveling from Florida and had a flat tire on my RV. They got me in and out in an hour. Jersey Mikes right next door made the wait easy! Very professional.

Had some Yokohama Geolander ATs put on my truck. They ride phenomenal. Also had an alignment done. Truck drives very nice now. Awesome customer service as well. I definitely recommend these guys for your tire needs. I'll be coming back for sure.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! BEWARE! IF I COULD RATE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! I took my vehicle here for the PA safety inspection and they said it failed due to the brake pads and rotors needing to be replaced. The estimated cost to repair was approximately $600! I then took the vehicle to the dealer to get a second opinion, and they said that the brake pads and rotors did not fail inspection, but that two other things on the car did fail, including a leak in the rear brake line and a wheel bearing that needed to be replaced! They said the car was unsafe to drive with the leak! How was this missed? The dealer provided photos of the leak in the brake line and measurements of the brake pads. Tire Town did not provide any measurements of the brake pads and did not offer to rough up the rotors rather than replace them. I repaired both brake lines and got a new wheel bearing at the dealer at almost the same cost as what Tire Town was charging for new brake pads and rotors! The estimate from the dealer to get new brake pads and rough up the rotors was also half the cost of what Tire Town was charging. The state inspection and safety inspection sticker also was less expensive at the dealer as well.

Got a tire alignment and everything went smoothly. Very nice staff and honest about pricing.

I came in today needing to replace a tire and had the pleasure of working with Eric. He was a great guy, very friendly, and I would not hesitate to do business with him again. Thanks for your help!

Ernie's the name, tires are his game! I had a blowout the other day, called him up, and he had me on my way in about 15 mins. Good service, very clean place, and they do nice work.

It’s a pretty long story, but these guys took very very good care of me with a new set of tires in an inopportune time for me and my son on a trip to Ohio. They were very nice and the service was impeccable, they literally put a brand new set of tires on my truck in about 20 minutes Highly recommended

Unfortunately the experience was the worst. First let me say I was on time with my appointment. That was my part. Waiting patiently for two hours for an oil change and a front tire check was absolutely ridiculous. But the worst part was that they never took my car in to do the job. Looking outside and seeing that my car was never taken inside for the job was terrible. My thoughts in this are if you have a patron in your lobby for two hours don’t you think that it would be a good idea to find out why they are still in your lobby. Try and consider taking better care of your customers. Money is not everything and if you have little consideration for your customers you will have no customers. You are like all the other businesses out there with absolutely No customer service. They could have offered to fix the issue but didn’t bother doing that. Very disappointing!
