T.J. Maxx reviews
10One of the nicest TJ Maxx stores I've been to. Do not go here during the pandemic if you are immunocompromised, most of their shoppers are disrespectful and don't wear masks, unfortunately.
A lady working at the jewelry counter is not treating customers well. She would stare at you and talk bad things about you with other staffs.
The staff treat you like you are a burden to them and make rude comments to customers. I have had multiple instances of an employee treat me poorly and in retail that is what causes you to lose business.
I love finding great deals here on name brand skincare! Shelves are messy and overstocked, but that’s at every TJ Maxx. Store is pretty clean and the workers are super nice and helpful.
It's always a surprise. I don't always find the things I am looking for, especially clothes. It takes a very long time to find one piece of clothing that I like. They have a great collection of office supplies and kitchen items.
Ross department store has the same stuff and is cheaper.even tj Maxx on sale stuff is more expensive than Ross. So not worth the trip.
It has decent clothing at good prices but it's late on it's clothes. Meaning shorts for summer are only in stock halfway through summer
I needed to make a return without my receipt and I honestly expected to have an issue. The staff was super nice and understanding. She set me up with their option of not only getting a paper receipt but also a copy sent to my email. I was able to snag a very cool Robert Lee Morris bracelet on clearance for 20.00. It will be something that will never go out of style. Lol and I felt a creeping impulse buy of a Dooney and Bourke Phillies cross body wallet - but I RESISTED and will get something tomorrow at Love It in State College for a fraction of the cost!
This place has awful customer service. The employees there are stuck up big time. Not everyone, but most. I like to go there for brand makeup and it's very hard to find something that wasn't touched or used. They have no monitoring on it whatsoever, one time when I checked out I asked the girl if I got home and noticed it was used if I can return it. She says that they don't accept used makeup. I told her ok but what if it was used by someone else before I left the store and I have the receipt. She keeps telling me I can't return used makeup. I felt like she wasn't understanding what I was saying because she just kept saying they don't except used makeup. Then she acts snarky and says I can look at it here and starts taking all my stuff and starts opening it. She rips the entire box on a lipstick and takes the dropper from the liquid foundation out and it spills all over the side of the bottle. I told her please not to touch anything else. She did it so aggressively like it made her mad that I was asking her about the return. She sucked at customer service and wasn't explaining anything to me just saying I can't return used makeup. Everytime I would reword it she just said the same thing. I don't want makeup someone else has put to their skin and I didn't want to be out money because they can't keep an eye on their makeup section. Other times I go there it's very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The associates just seem unhappy to be there. Marshalls isn't like that.
