I would never recommend this store — would give 0 stars if I could. The customer service and communication is absolutely terrible. Our original expected delivery date was late July; it’s now mid October and we still have not received our furniture. Delays from the manufacturer are fine and to be expected, but what we have been upset with is the lack of communication from Today’s Home informing us of the delays. It’s been a complete headache trying to get a hold of our contact people (initially Larry, then Alyssa). Every time we speak there is a later expected delivery date, and that date comes and goes without a word from Today’s home. We are shipping the furniture out of state which adds an additional step to the process as it needs to be sent to the store, then shipped to our house, but our furniture hasn’t even made it to the store yet as far as we know. At this point, I am hoping to finally receive our order so I can never deal with this group again. For the price I would expect much more from their customer service team. You should take your money elsewhere. Further details below.

When we placed our order in May, we were initially very happy with our experience with Larry. He provided great design advice and we were excited about our choices. Our anticipated delivery date was late July. In mid July, I emailed Larry asking for an update. He said he’d get back to me with an answer — no response. I emailed again three weeks later — no response. I called and left a message — no response. Finally we were then put in touch with Alyssa, one of the managers. We’re told there was a wood shortage and our new expected delivery is mid September. That’s fine. Mid September comes and goes with no word from them. We call again — now our order will arrive in store October 6. I get a call October 6 that our order hasn’t arrived yet but will arrive the next week. It’s now October 16 and we still haven’t been informed if our order arrived in store. I just left another message asking for an update today. The whole process has been ridiculous. I’ve voiced my dissatisfaction several times on the phone with the communication on our order, and they don’t seem to care. Instead, deadlines continue to come and go with no word from them and still we have no furniture. Again, particularly for high end furniture, it should not be this much of a hassle to get updates when deadlines are not met on their end. I bet the furniture will be beautiful when it arrives, but this place will never get my business again.

I went to this store because they were local (not a box store) and I thought I could trust them. Wrong! Paid over $5000.00 for a couch, waited over 7 months for delivery. Six months after delivery, after the holidays, we lifted our cushions to tidy up. Upon lifting of cushions we found a large tear and another area with the beginning of deterioration. Mind you, we are in our late 60's, we have not pets or children I called Today's Home and notified them. They then sent out a highly polite gentleman by the name of Carl. He told us he was not sure how this repair would be handled. He told us someone will get back to us in 1 to 2 weeks. Over a month had elapsed, no call. I then called for status update. The next day I was informed that the manufacturer felt that they were not liable. Today Home then informed me that for $275.00 they would gladly come out and "patch" the couch. Wait. I spent over $5,000 for a couch and less than a year later they refuse to make it right. So much customer service. If you don't mind paying high end prices for low end service, then this is the place for you. I would like to update my ratings for Today's home. 5 months ago I was not happy with the response from the staff to deal with my concerns. I am happy to report that the team at Today's Home did a reset and were able to correct and make good on everyone of my concerns. Hats off to Holly and Carl in particular. They were awesome in going the extra mile to bring a positive end results. In my initial post I stated one of the reasons I chose to do business with them was I thought I could trust them. My gut feeling turned out to be correct. I am here to tell you if its customer service and quality of product is what you are looking for, look no farther. I would highly recommend buying all your furniture needs from Today's Home.

When we went into Today's Home, we weren't expecting to buy anything. We were just browsing. However, the terrific selection, comfortable atmosphere and personal service sold us. We found a sleek and modern reclining sectional that we fell in love with. We had been comparison shopping for a few weeks and never saw anything like it at other retailers. The price was higher than the big box stores, but the quality and customization was unbeatable. Larry, the designer, was also fantastic! He was knowledgeable, helpful and patient as he guided us through the selection process. Overall it was a great experience!

We visited Today's Home for the first time today. Our experience was very positive and we came away with not only the pieces of furniture we were hoping to purchase, but knowledge about the pieces and how they will work best in our space. Larry helped us and was informative, friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. Would recommend Today's Home and Larry to anyone and will be happy to return in the future.
