Tom's Kitchen reviews
15 Nice clean restaurant! Server was great!
Nice size portions, but boy they need someone that can cook! No flavor at all! Pancakes are large but not fluffy, potatoes taste pre boiled without salt in the water! The only thing that was good was the ham! Well ya know how can ya mess up ham?
So much of the food is fine, but the chef seems to add sugar to quite a few things that aren't normally sweet. The coleslaw is sweet with an odd vanilla flavor for instance, and the spaghetti sauce is sicky-sweet to the point of being really awful!
The other negative is their omelettes. The egg portion is spread so super-thin on the grill that they are translucent and don't support the ingredients well.
Friendly and clean. Dont order sausage gravy n biscuits, it tastes like cream of chicken soup
Stoped by to fuel up before a race. Super nice staff and very present:). Food taste very fresh. Quick to refill my coffee and serve our order. Family friendly and there was not a wait
Great breakfast menu, very fast service. Must comment on toast, was buttered well. Not like a spec of butter in most places. Very clean, very friendly servers. All good!
Tom's is a very consistent and delicious breakfast. I can see why they get the crowds.
Food was fantastic. Typical diner, typical staff you'd expect at a diner, but the food was fantastic!
Great place! The service we received from Karen was excellent. I loved the food and it came out quick. The prices were very reasonable. We will be back!
The first two times that I stopped at Tom's Kitchen I found it exquisite, a true Americana restaurant experience with a huge menu that put a big smile on my face and that left me with an eagerness to return. My more recent trip, however, was quite a disappointment, the menu was much smaller, colorless and very matter-of-fact in nature. I remember inquiring about what happened to the much bigger menu and hearing something to the effect of how I could still order whatever I wanted, they still had it even if it didn't appear on the menu. Why this diner has become so indifferent and run-of-the-mill lately puzzles me, they once had something wonderful to offer and that just isn't there anymore.
My husband I stopped in yesterday to grab a fast burger on our way out of town. They were awesome and perfectly cooked. Thank you
We are traveling through (staying at a hotel up the street). What a find. Food was excellent. Meatloaf special with blueberry bbq sauce. Wife had homemade chicken pot pie. One daughter had a burger, the other mac and cheese. We all left very full and happy. Fantastic server. Should be on DDD w Guy.
Delicious food and excellent service. The salads are huge. Homemade soup was outstanding. The homemade potato chips were amazing.
Can't believe I was sleeping on this restaurant. The staff were all so friendly and the food.omg it was delicious! The coffee was also really good. Can't wait to go back!
The server was amazing. Unfortunately the food has absolutely no flavor at all. We ordered multiple things off the menu and were highly disappointed with every item.
Tom’s Kitchen is a fun restaurant and has the best service and food! Their pies were the absolute best I have ever had. This restaurant is the kind of place that feels nostalgic and homey. Do yourself a flavor, and go to this lovely spot if you’re hungry.
