Tony Luke's reviews
14Had the roast pork with spinach, it was a little soggy but very tasty. Churros were also very good.
Meat tasted fine but had lots of chewy bits to pull out. Cheese was only on the bread, not mixed into the meat. Onions weren’t grilled or mixed into the meat. About 1/2 of the portion of meat compared to what you can get at Leo’s for the same price. But the wait was fine and the staff wasn’t rude.
I've always come for the cheese steaks. Like everything the prices are going up, but the rolls are good as is the steak and onion. Happy each time! I've been there maybe three times in the last year. Very consistent.
You can’t rely on my review due to the fact that I’m a fan of Geno’s Steaks so …enough said.
The steak was good and the season was good.
I would go back and order if I couldn’t get over to my usual.
To be honest, it’s pretty good. The break, service, and pricing it good.
You acake your own decision based on this.
Like I stated, I’m a Geno’s girl but Tony is not half bad.
I had a very bad experience so bad that I walked away and ordered from somewhere else. The guy at the counter was taking my order and walked away to help someone else. First time I let it go second time he walked away so did I.
A meatless sandwich. Got cheesesteaks and over paid for a sandwich with barely any meat in the roll. Disappointed
This place was very good, I ordered two cheesesteaks they changed the bread to worse, barely any meat and nerves in it. I asked for cheese and peppers got nothing, the people that work there don’t understand how to take the order! Use to be my favorite place for cheesesteaks!
Very disappointed!
Customer service is terrible. I ordered pizza fries and they gave me fries with cheese whiz and ketchup. When I told them I did not want this and asked if they could make something else they rudely said we are not taking it back and that I would have to purchase something else. After they could clearly see that I barely touched the terrible food. Spoke to the manager and he yelled at me and told me he could not take it back! Food is terrible and customer service is worse. Do not recommend.
Ordered a Roast Pork, Junior Cheese Steak, and two kids meals. While the Roast Pork was good, it didn't fill the roll, but OK. The Junior Cheese Steak was a total disappointment. It didn't even fill half the roll, so it was a quarter of a Junior Cheese Steak. When I went to complain and show them the size of the meat in the sandwich, I was told that was how it was and was dismissed. It used to be that Tony Luke's was one of the premier sandwich shop in S. Philly, but this location is definitely bringing down the name and rep. I was told by someone that went to the one in S. Philly that it was a disappointment but was skeptical, but now I'm not so sure. Def won't eat at the Springfield Mall location again.
Give me the wrong order took my food back insisted of taking it apart putting the right condiments on it handing me the sandwich back all wrapped up, you got the order wrong give me a brand new sandwich that's disgusting
What a joke $27 for no drink or fries to go with a wet steak with no onions or peppers. I asked for everything and got something that was wet chopped up meat. Never again. Carrying south Philly name IN VEIN SMH /shout out to the real tony lukes
Rushed from the airport to get my Philly. The closed up shop over an hour before closing time.
I’ve been here once and they have pretty good food, they’re pizza is good and their wings are also pretty good too but the time I went they were kinda burnt and didn’t have much sauce
They have really good cheesesteaks. I got a traditional style steak and crab-style fries. I’ve been a few times and each time the staff was very friendly and the food was always good. The cookies & cream milkshake was good too
