Tonya's Nails, Reading PA

This was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. My toes look fine but she rushed through doing my feet and I had to ask her to go back and scrub the middle when she didn’t do it the first time. Even after that, the bottom of my foot still isn’t smooth. Not good service for a $43 pedicure.

I love this salon! I get my nails done by the owner and he never disappoints. He takes great care of the clients, both his own and otherwise. Even when I break a nail and it’s totally my fault, he gets me in for a fix as soon as he can! Love it.

I very much support this small business. I know it’s clean and I get excellent service. My only problem is there are too many color choices! It’s hard for me to choose!

Best place to go get your nails. I have been coming here for years. That have an awesome staff and the owner is great! They have a really great selection of colors and are up for trying new designs and techniques. Highly recommend!

The sign says walk ins welcome. Whenever I walk in, the manager is very rude. Service is OK.

I’ve been here a total of 3 times now. First two times were okay they were done by the girl 2nd row all the way to the left. This last time I had them done by the guy (owner maybe?) and they were terrible. The acrylic powder was just slopped on, half of the steps that are included in a refill weren’t done, and they were barely filed, all uneven, sharp, and just straight up one of the worst refills I have ever gotten. The guy’s attitude is very arrogant and is honestly disrespectful to customers based off of hearing him on the phone and clients coming in that he knew. There’s a difference between being respectful and funny, and then being disrespectful and snarky. He told me “I got 3 people in and out in under a half hour and you’re one of them. ” He seemed so proud of that but that’s nothing to be proud of because a complete refill takes between 30-45 minutes and I could tell I was his idgaf set since I’m not one of his regulars and there’s a reason why I won’t ever be. I got matte brown that chipped in less than 3 days and it didn’t even look like I got a refill. You can find better places worth your money. All the owner cares about here is making the money not actually taking the time to do your nails right, unless you’re one of regular clients. Save your money.

If could use 0 I will or even bellow 0 … the owner is the rudest person I’ve ever met. He talk nasty to customers he has the worst costumer experience skills ever make you feel he do it for free … I came earlier than my appointment cause I didn’t hear the time correct over the phone when I asked to reschedule cause I am gonna be late for work he gave me the worst attitude ever talk mean in front of other people … so nasty and no respect to customers think he is the only business in the area … by the there is plenty of nail salons around that has great customer experience and do great job the only reason why I choose to go there because it’s close to my work. Some people they need to to learn about customers service before opening. Business. And sometimes they forget that they live in USA a huge competitive market and if you loose one customer you loose a lot.
If I walked out without saying a word that doesn’t mean I am scared of you it does mean that I am not use to deal and don’t want to deal with rude people like you.

I am fragile due to medical reasons so the crew at Tonya’s made sure my hands and toes are perfect. I use dipping powder on my nails. PINK AND WHITE DIP HOMBRE. Beautiful!

I got gel nails and I am not happy how they turned out. The nails are shorter than I had expected which is completely my fault but even if I messed up on how long I wanted them. My nails are all different sizes and she looked at each of them to make sure they were even and they’re not. Also, my nail’s aren’t straight and I just asked for a square shape that way she didn’t have to do anything fancy with it. I attached some photos as a visual. I still left a tip as well.

Got gel nails done Wednesday December 15th and by December 21st they started chipping. I have never had this happen with gel before.

5 people came in after me and were service by the staff. I was the only black and was made to wait

I normally do not get my nails done but I was told by a friend that this place is great. I asked for all matte black besides the white ring fingers, oval shaped, I showed a reference photo for the shape. I didn’t notice the air bubbles or how crooked they were until I looked at them closer after I left. They are so crooked and thick, 4 of my nails have air pockets and the one already peeled off in less than 24 hours. $45 dollars and I’ll be taking them off after one day.

Felt rushed through. Can't say good work as nails were filed lopsided and uneven and polish applied hurriedly. Will not be going back.

Owner is super nice and accommodating. The place is very clean, and massage chairs for pedicures are amazing. Pedicure was amazing, complete with foot and leg massage.will definitely come back

I walked in with no appointment and completely felt comfortable. I had been going to Ana nails across from the Berkshire mall for the last 4 years and recently was very disappointed in their work and the fact that I get the same thing every time but had a different price than before. I came in explained to Von my nails were terrible and he promised he would fix them. He definitely did his thing! Will no longer be going to the other place! Definitely recommend!
