Tony’s Mining Company Restaurant

We went to Tony's to celebrate my 40th birthday. We'd heard a lot about it, but never had been there. Fantastic experience. Great food and service. We really enjoyed it. We'll be back to enjoy the patio in nice weather! Thanks for making my birthday special. Company special ftw.

Atmosphere is very nice as it has always been. The price was a bit high for the quality of service and the quality of food. Quantity of food was good.

First-timers! We left this restaurant wowed. The service and food was incredible. We loved our meals and dessert. The atmosphere was pleasant and even though it was very busy (8: 00pm on a Saturday night), everything was prepared promptly. We will definitely be going back.

2nd visit: Food and service was just as excellent as our first visit. We miss the lemons with the hot towels though!

Sat outside tonite, great weather, had the rib cap, it was excellent.

New night, new meal. Inside by the fire Tomahawk chop for dinner this time. Amazing! So juicy and tender, great flavor. They only need to up their bread game. One little piece doesn't cut it.

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding.from service to food to atmosphere.the dishes on the menu are prepared and presented exceptionally.

We just moved here from Tulsa Oklahoma. We love Tony's! Owner and staff are all friendly and very professional. Love the small and seasonal menus. Wish they have more wine selection in the future, but overall it is an amazing restaurant. Love everything in Tony's!

What a gem for great food in Lebanon County. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about every dish. Everything was perfect as we celebrated our 29th Anniversary. It was our first time, but we'll definitely be back.

Decided to celebrate my birthday at Tony's Mining Company. How disappointing! Walked into utter chaos at the hostess station. My husband and I weren't even welcomed. Tried to explain to the two hostesses that a member of our party couldn't attend and that it would just be the two of us. The hostesses were more focused on a family of 3 and kept getting our names confused. We were left standing there like unwelcome guests. No explanations, no invite to enjoy a drink at the bar, no "just a moment we will be right with you. "
Our table was in the back corner of a dark and dingy room. Lightning was poor and the room lacked character. We were brought a plate of butter and then ignored until our waitress arrived and took our drink order. Drinks were fine, not very strong. Ordered apps, which were delicious and our main courses. Asked about why we had butter and the runner said it was for the bread. He finally brought us some bread. Ordered glasses of wine to enjoy with our dinner, those arrived half-way through our main course.
I would give this place 2 stars if it wasn't for the food. For the price of the meal, you would expect better service and a more welcoming environment. Maybe it was because we took the time to put on nice clothes, not just jeans and hoodies. Maybe it was because this restaurant is geared for those over 70, who are repeat customers and new people are ignored. In hindsight, this Lancaster County couple should have stayed in Lancaster County.
Side note-received a call from Steve, Manager at Tony's Mining Company, that I needed to call him back on his personal cell phone and give him my credit card number so that he could run the tip for our waitress. Weird right!

We dined there tonight and that was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I've always said that no one in the area had steaks that could even come close to Final Cut, at Grantville. But after tonight's meal, I may have to rethink that statement. Service was spectacular as was the meal. We will be back and everyone was so helpful, courteous as well as friendly. Thank you very much and congrats. I owned a restaurant in the Reading Airport and I know how difficult it is to have every little thing go perfectly but you pulled it off tonight!

Sorry we didn’t visit sooner. Fantastic food from appetizers through to the main course and dessert. Will definitely look to return in the near future.

Visited for the first time last night for my birthday. The food was excellent and the service was great. The duck nachos were so good and I can't wait to go back and have them again!

First time here and highly recommend Tony’s mining restaurant! The ambiance was relaxing and welcoming. Soft music in the background with dim lights. I like that they bring hot wet towel out for face and hands before bringing food to your table. It is little pricey but worth it! Food was fantastic! Appetizer we tried duck nachos and they were delicious! I had the whiskey pork tomahawk and meat was juicy and tender. My husband had the braised brisket special and he said it was good! The staff was nice and shoutout to our server Pamela who did amazing! She brought out treat with candle for my husbands birthday. If you need a new place to check out for birthdays or anniversary dinner try Tony’s! They changed management in the last 2 years! We will definitely be back! Next time I want to try filet mignon!

Food was ok. Salmon was dry. Shrimp was huge but overcooked. The scallops were good. Mushroom croquet were delicious

I just didn't care for the extra ingredients in the fish I had. Red beets and a rice substitute and the sauce tasted bad to me. Sorry!
