Tony's Pizza City reviews
20Unfortunately wasn’t able to eat any of the food after waiting over a hour for delivery, specifically asking to call my phone when arrived but food was left on the floor outside at night and was only notified when I called the restaurant. First said I didn’t have an order with them then said the driver called multiple times which was false. No call. No knock. No delivery confirmation. Still currently says on the way in the app even after store is closed. Terrible service. Pizza was filled with outside bugs because of course it was left on the floor. Not even the table just on the ground amongst bugs. Very disappointed
Extremely talented chef! The pizza is wonderful, but dont forget about the specials. They are always changing and are so creative and delicious. I had the most incredible short-rib dinner with polenta. Also, it is a family business, and everyone is so kind and welcoming! This is one of our favorite places to eat, I highly recommend this place!
Sam's Hope is legally registered as a non-profit at 901 E. Willow Grove Avenue, Wyndmoor, PA 19038, which is the same mailing address as Tony's Pizza City, which in fact is the building I co-own. The nerve of this tenant to be throwing out all of our mail (guess it is too much trouble to set it aside), as well as our donations. VERY ANIMAL UNFRIENDLY.businesses generally find it a smart move to partner with nonprofits.this one just throws away our grant funding and all other important communications, as well as donations, in the trash. Tried to talk to him.impossible, he just yells louder and longer. Perhaps a call to the postal authorities might help fix this issue. I believe it might be a federal crime to throw out someone's mail? I wouldn't eat at this establishment if it was the last place on earth.
"While it may be tempting to shred or throw away mail, doing so may constitute a felony. Obstruction of correspondence is a federal criminal offense. Upon conviction, you may face up to five years in prison for destroying someone else's mail. "
These guys are absolutely fabulous. Feels like such a personal connection. The way that the owner pays attention to every customer.
Food is really great as well.
I was there a couple of months ago and I was sharing with him about how I love a veggie grinder in a certain way, and he said he would absolutely make me one that way.
I told him that I didn’t know about that because I had been eating the same type of sandwich at my favorite other spot for about 20 years but lately they seem to keep making mistakes and how I loved it.
He told me that if I didn’t love it, not to pay him anything for it. Isn’t that how top-notch customer service used to be?

Love this place. Luciano really gets to know his people…. I even took a photo before devouring it this time.
The owner personally served me, he was very friendly, the food was great and it’s a nice clean establishment. I’ll stop by for a slice next time I’m in the area.
Picked up our first (of now many to come) orders from here tonight. Chicken tinga bowl was absolutely delicious and their pizza is wonderful. And such a friendly and dedicated owner! We’re lucky to have him in our neighborhood!
First time ordering from here. It’s nice to have a places that still does old school delivery. The lady on the phone was really nice and pleasant. Food came quick and was fresh, even the delivery guy was super friendly. My niece had a slice of pizza and fries the pizza looked good and she enjoyed it. I got a Turkey hoagie meat was fresh, roll was soft.
Great food, friendly staff. I love it!
Al pastor and beef birria tacos are to die for!
Pizzas are great too!
We arrived Tuesday around 9 PM, close to closing, and we were greeted warmly. We ordered the chicken and orzo soup and pirogies and homemade wheat bread. Everything was excellent, and those were the best pierogies we've ever had. We weren't rushed even though it was later in the evening. We felt right at home. We look forward to going back again soon.
Open for breakfast. The people are friendly and breakfast was delicious. They even serve scrapple
Uuh I love Tony's Pizza, A very nice place, anyone who thinks it's a pizzeria let me tell you that it includes a variety of delicious Mexican dishes, with attentive people, and the seasoning is very delicious! I love Mexican food! Guys I will visit you whenever I can!
Very sympathetic place. The food was good with this little touch that makes all the difference!
Luciano and his team are the absolute best! The food is top notch and they are an absolute joy to speak with. Such an amazing neighborhood spot. Will be frequenting this establishment!
The best birria tacos I’ve tasted, such great flavors and they just melt in your mouth! Highly recommend! They have other foods that taste amazing!
First time stopping in here, and it was a lovely experience. Very friendly staff and helpful employees. Since it was my first time, I'd thought I'd try their recommendation.being taco Tuesday, it was the short rib tacos.from a pizza place. They were possibly the best tacos i have ever eaten. Succulent short rib that was perfectly cooked and paired with homemade tortillas that seemed to be fried too. They were hefty and hard to finish. If they didn't taste so good, no way I could have! I'm glad I stopped. Definitely will be back!
Great pizza. Fresh, hot and made exactly how it was ordered. Real old fashioned style. Definitely worth it.
What a gem. Owner and staff are very welcoming and nice. Food made fresh on prem. Chef/owner is incredibly passionate about people and food. Homemade bread, desserts and the Al Pastor tacos are INCREDIBLE.
Great food, great people and great service. See you soon!
Place is awesome. Little man should get employee of the month for his customer service and dedication
Delicious & carefully crafted. Falafel gyro was fantastic, and my friend loved her meal as well. The chicken tacos were also to die for. Owner was super personable & friendly. This place is hidden gem. 100% recommend, and I will be returning to try just about everything. Definitely keep an eye out for this place, it’s definitely going to please you.
Best pizza and fries ever. Zero grease. Lots of other menu items are also good including Mexican dishes, salads, sandwiches. They even added a little outside seating out front plus breakfast items.
Easy parking and they will even bring it out to your car. The new owners are wonderful and focused on the business. We order from there regularly.
