Tortugas Mexican Eatery, Collegeville PA

My wife loves the Creamy Chipotle Chicken, I had the Vegetarian California Burrito, both were excellent. Second time here. We need to make this a regular stop!

I adore turtles. People still remark that the cuisine at my graduation celebration, which they catered, was the greatest they've ever eaten at a gathering. Since we started coming here to eat more than ten years ago, everything has remained the same. I recommend this location to everyone. The most delicious chips and salsa The flawless beef fajitas are my personal favorite. Although it's difficult to find decent help, the wait staff has never been great.

It was one of the worst mexican eateries I have ever had. The rice for one for awful and mushy. Like there was no flavor at all. The chimichanga was terrible. It was a meat patty with tons of cheese. They tried to hide the tasteless flavor with tons of cheese. And if you want extra chips, they charge you. Wasted my money never coming back to this fake Mexican place.

The California burritos were great as were the chips and salsa. The employees were friendly and attentive.

These enchiladas here are incredible! With the shredded beef and roja mild sauce, you can't go wrong. The ambiance is enjoyable for the whole family. The restrooms and restaurant seem to always be clean.

This review has been a long time coming. One of the best places to get enchiladas. Their spicy, red sauce is perfect. Never had a bad experience and you are always made to feel welcomed. You just can't go wrong.

Had the Tijuana trifecta of burritos and chimichangas. Mexican rice. Black beans. Everything was really tasty. It was gone in no time with zero leftovers. Highly recommend

Horrible ordering experience twice in a row. Employee took order down wrong, didn’t clarify what was included, then proceeded to blame the customer for the mistake. After driving back to the restaurant to get my corrected order I was asked to give them another shot. A week later I ordered and I reiterated the order at least 5 times which was then repeated back to me. After bringing it home I find out it was wrong AGAIN. Horrible employee interaction and horrible ability to process a simple order.

BEST THERE IS!

I don't give this praise out easily, Tortugas has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for over 10 years and has never failed me. Dine in or take out from here is always superb. Great value, consistent hard working owner and consistent kitchen staff all tell tale signs of a well run business. The kitchen is run very smoothly and food is delicious.

I LOVE Tortugas. I had them cater my graduation party and people still talk about it being the best food they had at a party. We’ve been eating here for over 10 years and everything is always consistent. I recommend this place to everyone. The BEST salsa and chips. My favorite is the steak fajitas - immaculate. The wait staff has never been great but it’s hard to find good help.

Very friendly staff, but the food was abysmal. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had, and that’s not an exaggeration.

Very friendly staff, pretty overpriced food considering I think taco bell uses better ingredients in their food. Boiled chicken + canned refried beans + pre shredded cheese + two tortillas does not make an 11 dollar quesadilla, I would still gladly eat this food, just for taco bell prices, not sit down restaurant prices

We come in every time we visit our son at college. This place is wonderful and the food is delicious! So glad we found this place as everyone in the family loves the food. Always a good experience!
