Totem Pole Inn reviews
16Great wings, all the food we ordered and ate was fabulous. We really enjoyed ourselves at the Totem Pole Inn.
My Dad visited this bar back in 1990. Stole the sign. Here is a photo of it. He says sorry
Came here for the first time with my friends Friday night to get some local bar entertainment. The bartender, Fiona I think was her name, bullied my friends and I. She made it very clear she did not want us there, when we are spending customers. She was screaming at the bar 'Who ordered Mozzarella sticks' and swinging the frying pan all over the place. She also accused us of being on molly very sad. We will never be back.
Great little dive bar. Friendly portions and servers. Get the Italian hot dog. It's to die for.
We have been going to the Totem Inn for the last few months, mainly for the hamburgers. They are truly incredible. There are few contenders to the flavor, quality and enjoyment one gets when eating a locally sourced handmade special seasonings, real tomato and onion all on a unique branded bun. And not a sloppy eat like many others
Price is great. We get the bacon cheddar burger. It's the real deal.
The service is impeccIble and friendly.
Highly recommend.
Great place to have a beer. Nice patio. A bit noisy inside when it gets crowded. Serves ONLY fried food so we eat dinner at home. The fried pickles were very tasty though (don’t tell my cardiologist)
Terrible service, sat outdoors for 21/2 hrs without food and was told the kitchen was closed. Arrived at 6: 30 pm. They should close their doors permanently.
The waitress was wonderful, but the kitchen seemed to be overworked, the waitress kept us informed, and was very upset. When the food finally arrived it was wonderful! (it took 40 minutes for the hamburgers to arrive!)
Have been here a few times. Everyone is really nice and I notice people take turns buying one another rounds of drinks more then any place I have ever been. The crowd is a mixed bag. If you feel like talking flat earth conspiracy or being asked if you are from Brooklyn or New Jersey by anyone who clearly has not been to either place, you will be in heaven. Trivia night is fantastic and I have made some friends with some very nice people. End of the night is also kind of interesting. Can be very fun can be a little not. Pick your day accordingly. I prefer week days. Most of the bar tenders are super friendly and nice. Michelle the manger is very good at her job and is often there. There is a surprising number of naval veterans that are in attendance so if you are a shipmate bring your challenge coin.
What a pleasant surprise! When you're the only restaurant for what feels like 15 minutes, I feel like there's a certain grace people give to quality because it's the only choice. Though the menu isn't large, all of it is quality and well priced. The staff is friendly. It's a local spot in the week and an out of towners spot on the weekends. Looking forward to hanging out on their deck in the summer! Update: Summer deck is great! Much younger more immature crowd on weekend nights in summer vs off season
Loved it! Slushy drinks are amazing! The back patio is the best. Good music and family together can't be beat! We will definitely be back!
Hailey the bartender is awesome and made great food recommendations and kept my glass full. No need to flag down bartenders and wait hoping for them to stop talking to someone just to get another drink. Highly recommend this bar and especially the bartender
I really use to enjoy this place would come drink eat and tio well. Then I came with some family and friends and the energy was different we set for a hour and a half unable to get served finally ordered and they decided to card even the people who weren't drinking. My daughter who is 22 did not have her ID and the situation got weird. I came back today and was told I can not be served because of my previous visit.i showed them my daughter ID but did not matter. Obviously black people are not welcome here.
Such a fun, inviting bar! The locals were so kind, the atmosphere was great, the bartenders did a phenomenal job, the live music was wonderful. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
Forgot my beer at home in NJ while visiting my father in law. Totem Pole Inn saved my life that weekend simply be providing me with a cold six pack to go. Looks like a really cool place to catch a game, hope to stop in again and try the wings.
