Towne House Apartments reviews
7Lived here for 3 solid years now and hoping for more. Responsive property management keeps it a nice place to live. Rent increases have been a bummer though, well, it hurts really. Still market fair. The laundry room is a rip-off though, about time they start adding laundry to each unit as they turn-over to keep up with the times.
I want to start off and say that Joy has been an amazing help. She always makes sure that you have whatever you need. The apartment is okay. It’s very old timey and the apartments have a 70s style bathroom. There is no central air anywhere. The apartment suites have their own air conditioners. Yet, during the summer it is hot as hell in the hallways, laundry rooms and exercising room. During the winter, it is so cold that you need to buy your own heater. There is no security and the homeless population comes in staying in the lobby, laundry rooms and exercising rooms. Staff claims the cameras are watched but that is only during the day when they are present. After 5pm, unauthorized guests roam. For the amount, you pay the safety is mid.
Location! Location! Apartments spacious and birght. Best in-apartment storage in town. Reliable maintenance. Convenient and always clean public laundry facility.
This property is owned by a corporation from NYC. Nobody gives a thought to what is legal. If you are handicapped, even moderately, good luck. Example for anybody - as a leasee, you will get a monthly email regarding rent, but the only notification that you may not have hot water 10 hours from now is a sheet of paper slapped up on an elevator door. Don't be fooled. This place is a dump.
I lived here from 2018 to 2023. The rent was reasonable and the 2 bedroom apartments are quite large. Any time I had any maintenance issues, they were quick to fix them. In the five years I lived there, I only had an issue with noise from neighbors a few times.
The worst thing I found with living there is the trash collection by the city. It's done at o'dark-thirty in the morning (any time between 5: 30 and 7 am) and it's loud enough to wake me out of a sound sleep.
My Mom's friend lives here and He had a MAJOR Bed Bug infestation so I'd be very careful visiting or moving in to this Establishment!
