Transport Cycles at Bok reviews
9I have been going to this place for years. I Will go out of my way to take my bike here to get fixed, or if you need to get parts, he sells nice bicycles too. You won’t find a more honest nice man to fix your bike, always nice as can be and does a damn good job. Really fun location too! While you’re getting your bike fixed, there’s so much to explore at the Bok. Cup of coffee, something to eat, shopping, art. I highly recommend transport cycles.
If you’re looking for a bike for commuting and running errands around the city (aka not racing bikes), Transport Cycles is the best shop in town. They specialize in cargo bikes and folding bikes.
Needed a quick assessment of my road bike. Hadn’t ridden it in 3 years. Simon did a quick check (he was busy too) and said it worked. 30 miles later I agree.
Best bike shop in South Philly, and I’ve been to them all. Has a sister shop in north philly with a large selection of bikes & ebikes that you can have ordered down here and setup. They also sell and service e-bikes, even ones they didn’t sell to you. Lectric e-bikes lists them as an authorized repair center, the only one in Philadelphia! One of the only shops I’ve found that does electrical work. Definitely go and take your bikes I’ve been going for years and wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.
This bike rides like it’s on crack now. Simon fixed my bike, he’s the best! I came on a Thursday and my bike was ready by Tuesday. I paid $91 for a tune up and other adjustments my bike needed. Worth every penny.
Replaced my wheel at a reasonable price. I noticed after that my break was loose and I went back and he fixed it for me in 2 minutes. Would definitely go back!
Went here to repair a flat. Simon was friendly and attentive. Had my bike out of there in less than 10 minutes. Pricing is fair too.
It’s located inside across from the coffee shop.
Amazing experience. They repaired my bicycle while I waited. I was expecting to have to leave it for the weekend, but they were so quick about it that I hardly even realized they'd fixed it, and it was fixed perfectly. In the few minutes I was there, I took in a small selection of extremely useful bicycle parts and accessories. All-in-all, basically my ideal bike shop experience. I will be coming back soon.
