Website is very unclear about weight limit. Otherwise, my 9 year old had a blast on the small course. The staff at the front window were semi rude, but the zip line staff were amazing and so much fun!

Love Elmwood zoo. The animals are beautiful and lovely. You feel closer to nature at your visit here. Love feeding the giraffes the most! The staffs are wonderful. Guaranteed the kiddos will love every bit of this visit from beginning to end. I did!

It was a nice trip, but I believe it was early in the season with limited animals but plenty of people #FairmountParkZoo

I had the best time with my family and my grandchildren and it was just a real great day. Can't wait till the tiger gets there. Want to go back and see the tiger feeding. Those giraffes was a plus

An enjoyable aerial course for the family. Challenging enough to be fun without being particularly difficult. We are a pretty fit family and enjoy participating in various sports often, so others may find it more difficult than we did. The course is located within the zoo. I did not notice any signage directing adventurers to the location of the course. That would’ve made the experience of getting there simpler. Once we checked in, we got a brief but detailed course on how to use the equipment, and how to navigate the always-connected safety cable system from one obstacle to another. I was impressed that they provided lockers for our belongings at no charge. Once you’re up on the course, it’s easy to forget the suburban location and feel like you’re out in the wild. The staff were all courteous and competent. After completing the last obstacle, you climb down to earth and find yourself in a fenced in area within the zoo, removed from where you started. That was unexpected. It took just a moment to find the gate and let ourselves out. It wasn’t far nor difficult to find our way back to return the gear and retrieve our belongings. But again, signage would’ve helped. It wasn’t a major issue, but the unexpected end and the lack of signage prevented this from being a five star rating. All-in-all a very good experience, and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! My husband and I did it for our 3rd year anniversary celebration. I have done a few zip lines and ropes courses in my life, and this was a great one! Great value for money. Courses for kids and adults. Advanced safety system where they get you going after a short training, and then you pretty much navigate the course yourself instead of moving slowly with a group. Staff are wonderful as well. You get free entrance to the zoo if you reserve in advance. I recommend doing it in the morning, and get there at least 30 min early for parking in the summer.

If you haven't made it to elmwood for their Christmas lights, you have to! Plenty of room, a few fire pits and extra warm drinks to go around. Park on the upper lot and enjoy the view of all the lights at the park

I don't do the tree top adventures but the zoo in Norristown is always a great adventure! I have been going since I was a child and it was free admission. It was always welcoming and a great learning experience.

We actually visited the Elmwood zoo and I saw the kids having a great time. I'm not sure if mines are old enough for all the fun they were having but my 5yr old is begging to go. So I would say it's a great activity for very active kids or to get kids moving and socializing.

Being from out of town, we didn't know much about the area or this place. Zip lining was a new experience for the adults and teenagers in our group. The instructors did a great job teaching you how to get through the course safely. There were even instructors positioned throughout the course to assist if you were having difficulties. Zip lining over the zoo animals will be an experience we will look back on for many years to come.

Nice set up, the young people running the operation are helpful and knowledgeable on safety guidelines.
One draw back, when you purchase the adventure you are told the time that it will take to complete the course, that is not accurate, the short course, we were told, is 45 minutes, is not, is less than 30 minutes.
The site is ideal, colorful, you see different animal enclosures from above, go over a small creek.

Equally fun for kids and adults. There is a cub climb for younger kids and a really challenging over the top (really over the top of the?) course.

Such a fun and scary experience! I would totally do again but would try the full course. Zip lining over the Buffalo and creek was very cool! Definitely helps to be a member as far as pricing goes. The Cub club was a long course and so much fun.

It was small but very delightful. It was kept clean and being improved. There was plenty of picnic tables and areas to rest in the cool shade, there was plenty of opportunities for food. It was a great family experience

I have been to Elmwood park before and I remember it to be more beautiful, the park is ok, iis pretty walkable for little kids, not to big so they get to see all the speaces without getting very tired. However, it seams that the pandemic really hit the place. The anmals and they enclosures seamed a little sad this time we visited.
As for the Tree Top Adventure I think it is way to expensive for what the kids can get. I have tree kids so I need to pay almost 100 for them to get there and honestly, I don't think it is worth that much money. The zip line for the kids is a so tiny plus in a busy day they have to make lines and wait a lot to be able to move form one obstacle (or whatever they are called) to the other.

Took four kids ages 11-13 and two adults for a birthday party. The staff were friendly and provided the right amount of introduction to make everyone comfortable with the ropes course safety precautions. The course was definitely long enough, high enough, and with enough diversity of obstacles and zip lines to make it worth the money. I would do this with the family again.

We had such a nice time here. The was adequate staffing and they were all friendly. There's plenty of animals and their habitats were very well kept.
And it's really cool how inexpensive EPZ is. They even offer free days.
Do yourself a favor and check them out.

It's a great place for kids to explore and climb and just get strong. The owner has ensured that it's completely safe and birthday parties here are very entertaining

Such a fun experience for adults and kids alike. Summer, spring, winter and fall the zoo is open and packs a day of adventure and fun for a low low price. Definitely see animals here that you won't see at phila. Zoo. Also the environment feels very family like. In terms of how the keepers take care of the animals like they are their own. Go and check it out!
