TreVi Pizza Pasta BYOB reviews
20My husband and I ate at Trevi before a show at the Keswick last evening. Our server, Jessica, was very friendly and attentive. We did BYOB and my husband tried a glass of their house wine, which he enjoyed. If we didn't live over an hour away it would be our new favorite spot for date night!
I hear a lot of complaints about how long the pizza takes. It's probably because there's one man at the helm making sure each pie comes out right! I challenge everyone who wants to eat here, don't order out. Instead spend the time talking to the wonder wait staff and enjoy the food that the owners spend time to make.
The food was awesome! Appetizers and Entrees were delicious! Unfortunately Cynthia the “Medium” was a disappointment. During the reading she became agitated when we didn’t validate what she was saying. She became very annoyed which made us uncomfortable. Food and service were great, we will definitely go back, but skip the “Medium”.
Formerly Rizzos Pizza (way back) but changed in a good way. Excellent & friendly service. The 3 of us clean our plates sparklingly! There were complimentary cannolis! Though it is s BYOB they do have their line of wines. Definitely will be a repeat visitor!
First time at Trevi, and it was AMAZING!
I haven’t been to this place since my Beaver College days, when it was Rizzo’s Pizza.
Initially, I thought that it was the same owner. Learned it was not. Was a bit apprehensive at first, but my family and I decided to give it a try! We are SO GLAD we did!
From the pleasant greeting and seating, the appetizers (we selected the calamari, meatballs, and the pizza bread) which were soooo good, to our bountiful entrees (I had the chicken Marsala, hubby had the fettuccine Alfredo, and our daughter had the gnocchi), we were quite happy! Then desert! OMG! Best gelato ever! I also purchased a slice a the mascarpone cheese cake to take home. It was divine!
We will definitely return! Can’t wait to try the pizza!
First time in the wine garden and it was lovely! The food was as delicious as usual and our waitress, Bria, was wonderful. An all around great meal.
My friend and I were looking for a quick bite before going to the George Thorogood concert at the Keswick Theater in Glenside. We stopped in at Trevi Italian Restaurant and we were greeted warmly by the hostess. She asked if we were going to the concert we said yes then she proceeded to tell us that our meal could take a while because everything is prepared fresh. We replied that was fine we had plenty of time. We were seated our server was very pleasant friendly and helpful. We just had bread n butter for an app with homemade wines. Pinot Grigio fir my friend, Chianti fir me. They were both excellent! We both itdered Chicken Marsala both our favs. The Marsala sauce was excellent chicken was tender and the roasted veggies it came with were great! But, the star if the plate was the Gnocchi it was creamy soft flavorful melt in your mouth delicious. We had to get going to the show so we skipped dessert. We decided to come back when we are not under time restraints and have a full course meal. Trevi is a must visit for a culinary delight worth the wait and the prices are very reasonable. My compliments to the chef and all his people that made our dining experience so enjoyable delicious and pleasant!
I placed an order today for delivery. I was told 30- 45 minutes. After an hour with no delivery I called the restaurant and there was no answer and so I left a message inquiring about my order and asking for a callback. An hour and a half pass and no call back…. Now because I had already paid for my order over the phone I got in my car and drove to their restaurant. I politely explained to the woman at the front desk about my delivery order situation and she just walked away from me to what I think was the kitchen and came back a few minutes later to say that the order will be ready soon and that they are “real busy”. Another 15 minutes pass. Not a single apology, no credit to my order for the inconvenience, no nothing. I finally get home with my bolognaise order (starving at this point over 1.5 hours after I place the delivery order) and I find chunky canned tomato sauce w/ barely any meat. Pasta was so over cooked I started to get flashbacks of pasta day lunches at my elementary school cafeteria. Time to find a better place to enjoy real Italian food with better customer service and respect for customers. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
We just had our daughter’s baby shower at Trevi on 4/3/22. Such a wonderful place. The owners, Joe & Gina treated us like family. Christine and Chelsea took such great care of our guests and made sure everything flowed perfectly. Lastly, the food was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you, Trevi, for making our special day a memorable one. We can’t wait to return!
A place to go if you want to make your taste buds happy! The food was terrific. It tasted like it was just made; clean, flavorful, and fragrant. I even didn't mind that they ran out of my favorite dessert because it allowed the great taste of food to longer a little longer in my mouth while I was driving home. But next time I come, they better have tiramisu.
4 stars because the food is amazing. I highly recommend dining in. If I’m rating take out, it would be 1 star. If you order take out, go at least 15 minutes after whatever time they tell you it will be ready. Save yourself standing there waiting as they just start cooking your meal when you walk in.
A group of us had dinner before seeing Tom Poppa at the Keswick. Food, service and atmosphere were all terrific! Everyone in our group enjoyed their dinner. Was our first visit and we will be back. The location was perfect too. We took advantage of the beautiful night and walked to the Keswick after dinner.
Absolutely delicious! There pizza is phenomenal! I mean who thinks to put cheese on a pizza! They are so freaking good, the speciality ones will sometimes knock my socks off. Had a few of their pasta dishes, all were delicious. The appetizers were mad decent. Sometimes they don’t always feel like the best bang for your buck if you know what I mean! But the pizza oh my goodness I dream about it sometimes.
Absolutely delicious food here. A beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Even though we are not living in the Jenkintown area, we must return for a visit whenever we are nearby again.
I’ve had this place saved for a safe “post Covid” dinner. It was super hot so we did not eat in the courtyard, but the inside was super nice. We had:
Arugula salad- enough for 2 people
Grandma Meatballs- sauce was fantastic. Honestly skip the spaghetti and meatballs entree and just get the small plate of just meatballs.
Chicken & Sausage Cacciatore- delicious homemade Fettuccine noodles
Tiramisu- my friend said it was one of the best he’s ever had!
We had a wonderful family meal along with friendly and efficient service from the wait staff, from Chelsea in particular. She went above and beyond to put smiles on the grandchildren's faces. Every course was delicious and plentiful. Kudos to the chef!
Randomly found this place and decided to have a evening dinner with my girlfriend. Little did I know that this was about to be one of our favorite dinners of our relationship. The ambiance was so adorable and romantic, the music was GREAT, the hostest was so polite and welcoming, this place was top notch! Our waitress, Chelsey, was so accommodating and knowledgeable about the food. She made us feel so welcomed. Our food was absolutely delicious. This is a scratch kitchen and you can tell from the first bite. We had the muscles in white wine sauce, 10/10, my girlfriend had the chicken parm with pesto gnocchi 11/10, and I had the crab cakes with basil tartar sauce 10/10. Immediate top competitor for Italian food in the area, if not the best! Cant wait to come back and try more dishes.
Chelsea was a worthy hostess. The ambiance is very intimate, excellent music selection. The food and beverages were delicious. Great spot for a romantic date.
A great spot. Very good platters that any Italian lover will enjoy. The goat cheese and cippolini onion pizza is great. Main entrees are done to perfection. The owners seem to take great care in their product. As a kid, I went to this location when it was Rizzos. 5 star!
Great pizza but delivery takes almost 2 hours. We order all the time and are told it will be an hour. Every time delivery takes about 2 hours. Looking for another place.
