Tria Cafe Rittenhouse reviews
16I was doing some shopping in the area and this was the perfect location for a break. It’s a cozy wine bar without being too dark or rustic. I happened to arrive during happy hour and took advantage by ordering a glass of País, an excellent Chilean red, and the Tria Classics Board to start. Next, I ordered the salmon salad in an effort to eat my daily dose of greens. So, my expectations were low. Turns out, it was the best salmon salad I’ve had. After that, I still had room for dessert. My pick was the flourless chocolate torte, which paired well with the wine I was drinking. While the food was delicious, I have to note that staff made the experience very enjoyable. Their hospitality is truly remarkable. That alone made my visit worthwhile.
Great selection of wine with fresh and innovative menu. Small and cozy, love to sit at the bar and chat with the staff!
This place is absolutely phenomenal. I go here every single month and have been for almost two years now. The staff phenomenal every single time I come. The food is always amazing. This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Philly. Everyone should try it!
I had my first date at Tria with my now-fiancé at the Rittenhouse location and last night, my engagement happened there. It was perfect: they are giving us the security camera footage of the whole thing, and the staff that worked there went above and beyond. One was videotaping the proposal from the end of the table, the other one- wow- she went outside, in her tshirt and cardigan in freezing weather- videotaping through the window, to capture my reaction, because I was facing the window. Wow, so enthusiastic! They sent us the footage via email. The food is always tasty and delicious, and the ambience is casual yet tasteful. 5 stars all the way. Thank you, Tria. <3
Consistent. Decent wine selection (as expected at a wine bar) along with creative seasonal cocktails. Food menu is limited and more “snack-like” than proper meal but you can still have a good sitting. Highly recommend the paninis (any really). Fair warning, they are rather large so can be great for splitting. Service was solid but felt rushed while at the same time it took too long for us to get our waiter’s attention to order.
Oof - really bad espresso martini. I know that not everywhere does them so I only order it when it’s specifically on the cocktail menu, which it is. I was surprised that it’s on tap and not made to order. Extremely syrup-y and fake tasting. Would not recommend
Delightful as always. Bartender John was lovely, helped with recommendations and made us feel welcome and excited to try their menu.
Excellent tapas, with both big plates and small plates, and a very creative and ever-changing wine list and cheese list. The cocktails are very good as well. The service is friendly.
Alyssa and Jen were amazing! Actually, everyone was amazing! My friend David and I went to eat here and the service was outstanding, and food was delicious. Also great wine selection
I really enjoyed my experience at Tria. I would probably visit to try their cheese and charcuterie boards and I would be curious to try their food. I am not expecting any miracles, but if their food is above average, with their wine selection
Truly cannot believe this is the place they closed Bar Poulet for…
It was alright. Good wine selection. Food left a bit to be desired.
Our party of nine stopped in here for a drink before dinner. The menu is full of fun cocktails among many other choices. I had a fall drink with a pear liquor, and it tasted like fall! Our server was extremely knowledgeable and fun!
This place is cute and the food selection was eclectic and appetizing. The 20% gratuity charge was excessive because we received mediocre service and were ignored for the first 15 min upon arrival. The food portions are large, which is great because it was one of the most expensive tabs we had while visiting downtown Philly.
Liked this spot! I loved the salad, and they charged us less for removing bacon from the sandwich, which no one ever does!
Popped in after an impromptu day party and meet up with a longtime friend and former shipmate. The food and drinks were amazing. Our bartender James was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. This will not be my last time and I will recommend every chance I get. Keep up the awesome quality and service
Great stop for a girlfriend’s lunch. I made a quick reservation on open table to be sure there was space because it was surprisingly busy at 1pm on a Friday. Staff were awesome and welcoming, drinks were terrific (we ordered the Fig Sour which was awesome) and asparagus artichoke salad and the truffled mushroom panino. Both were tasty and plentiful. We shared the flourless chocolate cake was hard and disappointing (and not very flavorful) but it didn’t impact our overall experience. Loved the hip vibe!
