Triumph Brewing Company of New Hope reviews
27Went today.disappointed! On a positive note, my wife had the beet salad. Portion was very small, but was flavorful. I paid $18 for a cheeseburger. When you spend that kind of $$$$, it needs to be done properly. Came out tough as shoe leather. Waitress was nowhere to be found through the meal. When I pointed out to her the mishap, she had no words and brought me my check.
They say they are dog friendly until you show up with your dog. We set reservations weeks ago and stressed we were bringing our dog. We arrive early for our reservation but tell us they booked our reservation in side and we could not bring our dog. The alternative would be to wait an hour for a patio table to open up. Very rude and inconsiderate service. We stressed that our reservation would be with our dog. Will not bother coming back here for just standard fair.
Great beer and food. Rotating menus and an awesome staff. Also have outdoor seating and some indoor games (darts, pool table). Good place to hang out with a bunch of people.
I ordered the Birria tacos, bacon burger, and ice cream sandwich. I loved all three but preferentially in the order ice cream sandwich > tacos > burger. I wish I had photos but I'd rather eat any time.
The tacos come in a set of three (maybe 3in long), and I'm not sure if the shells were fried but were crisp and crunchy. The braised beef was tender with the asadero sauce being my favorite part of it. I regret sharing half with a friend.
I did modify the burger (not a fan of onions) with a cheese sauce on the side instead of the cheddar slice. I alternated between the cheese sauce and the steak sauce (on the side) to dip my burger in. The steak sauce won by far, making the burger that much better. The fries that came with the burger were the best I think I've ever had. Maybe a 1/4 inch or smaller thickness. Each bite was light, crispy, and crunchy and perfectly salted. I didn't need ketchup or any condiment. They were the perfect French fries.
I was initially skeptical of the idea of using a croissant for the ice cream sandwich but such a goooood decision. This dessert was crunchy and soft, hot (the croissant is TOASTED) and cold, salty and sweet (I do love salted caramel). The ice cream is from Bent Spoon in Princeton. After I agonizingly finished dessert, I wished that I had just ordered it for appetizer and entree (guilty of a major sweet tooth).
P. S. The restaurant is dog friendly with outside seating under awnings.
P. S. S. It started raining while my friend and I were outside with her dog. The awnings had to be closed because their not weather proof but they were able to move one of the tables under a part of the buildings overhang for us.
Great service and food!
Great beers. The food was delicious and on point. I would definitely take anyone who’s a foodie.
It's an excellent brewery/restaurant for the quality of food and drink that they serve. Their beers are top notch, and the food is excellent. The only downside is that it does tend to be a bit on the pricey side. At just shy of twenty bucks for fish and chips, slightly less for an Impossible burger, and not far behind for some very small Impossible meatballs appetizer, it just feels a little excessive. Don't get me wrong, it really was delicious, but with the sizes and prices, I really have to wonder how much of a markup there is on some of these items. It feels a little more like you're paying for the location than for the food.
A great place to go if you love beer. This micro brewery/ bar/ resturant has a dizzing selection of beer, with 7 local micro brews that are rotated seasonally in addition to the beer you'd find at any bar. The food is fancier than you'd think and it has a full bar for those who aren't into beer.
Service was good. Atmosphere is relaxed and they have good food, beer, and booze. What else can you ask for?
My wife and I have been going to the Triumph since it opened. We love this place. Good food and excellent service and the best beer!
Party of 8, getting a reservation was easy and the hostess staff were very friendly. However, the service was very slow - took forever and needed reminders to get drinks. But what drove me crazy was our dirty dishes not being cleared. Our empty, dirty appetizer dishes were still on the table when we ordered dessert, all of our empty glasses crowding the table and even our finished entree dishes took forever to get cleared. I had to call over a bus girl from another section, our server was hardly ever seen, despite us being seated near his register. We were party-charged 20% for the size of our party and maybe the server thought he did not need to provide good service.
Cool atmosphere. It used to be a train station so there’s a lot of open space and steel beams etc.
Food is excellent including the nachos with smoked pork and the calamari.
Burger was very good all grass fed beef. I added Carmelo Ed onions, Swiss, and mushrooms. Everybody really enjoyed their food and we left with boxes as well.
Also the beer is great. We will happily go back again.
Excellent burger, and beer selection. The thick cut on the bacon was phenomenal. It was a Happy Hour on Black Friday to our pleasant surprise. We were welcomed with a diverse draft selection and $4 pints during Happy Hour. Had this after Nektar to really fill up for the ride home.
This place use to be good in the last year food gotten worse servings are much smaller and hours of happy hours have changed making it super expensive to hang out.
Everything was on point, may seem expensive to some but everything including burger was cooked the way it should be, beer was good as well, , kids loved it also.would def go back
Great place to relax & unwind at the end of your day with nice cold or hot bevrrsge of your choice, Wonderful atmosphere, good food, nice prices, great service always with a smile
Huge brewpub located next to the railroad with a bar area, 2 pool tables, darts, stage area, outdoor seating and upstairs seating. We went to beer taste only so I didn’t have the opportunity to try the food. Service was slow but maybe we came at an off time. Hostesses in the front were very friendly.
Love to get their flights of beer and the atmosphere is really cool. I can't wait to go when there's live music!
Nice atmosphere, expensive, long wait for waitress to come back to the table, bartender doesn't know how to make a chocolate espresso martini! Seats are uncomfortable!
I love the new additions to the menu! Really friendly service. A great place to hang out in New Hope.
My pup and I enjoyed a wonderful burger and experience; loved my kind waitress who promptly brought him a water bowl!
