Triumphant arts tattoo studio, McKees Rocks PA

I’ve been tattooed here twice. Both times were great! The environment is welcoming, and bright. The first time, I got a matching tattoo with my best friend. Audrey did an awesome job with our ridiculous idea. She was able to get us in during my friends short visit to Pittsburgh and make minor changes to the tattoo easily. The second time, I got one of Audrey’s pre drawn designs and I love it so much! I can’t wait to go back to finish the other side. I very much enjoyed working with Audrey on both tattoos. She gave good suggestions/thoughts for placement and colors. I look forward to working with her on more projects in the future!

My friends and I all went to get a cute matching mushrooms together and as soon as we got there she was so friendly and welcoming. The entire appointment she was so awesome, she killed it with all of our tattoos I will most definitely come back, I love her style and visions and I look forward to having more of her art

Aaron is a top-notch artist and a stand up guy. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he ran with it, exceeding my expectations. He explained what he was doing before we started and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I could not be happier with my tattoo, already on the books for another! Oh.and the shop itself is super clean!

I have been getting tattoos from Angel for about 5 years now. Her artwork and ability to tattoo are absolutely phenomenal. She has a super creative mind, and an eye for the fine details. Every visit to her is a wonderful experience! She is professional and knowledgeable yet still personable. So sweet and SO fun to chat with during the session. All of my tattoos from her have healed beautifully, and I can’t wait for the future ones.:)

Aaron does great work. Very relaxed and flexible with ideas. I have gotten many tattoos from Aaron. Every one of them is perfect. Clean shop. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Angel Silvasy and Triumphants Arts! My first tattoo from Angel was 5 years ago when she was working at a different studio. It was no question that I wanted to go back to her. Booking was easy - I sent her a description of what I wanted and where I wanted it, reference photos, and preferences via an Instagram message. I then sent the deposit via venmo when we agreed on a date. From booking to appt date, I had a couple extenuating circumstances, and Angel was very gracious and empathetic in rescheduling to a date that worked for both of us. I was THRILLED with the artwork she drew! She created the stencil in a few different sizes, made sure I understood where the tattoo would sit, how it would distort as my arm moved, and double and triple checked all details of the design and stencil for my approval before we got started. The shop was comfortable and the tattoo was completed very quickly. It is beautiful! Angel was so thorough in her instructions for aftercare and provided a saniderm product that kept my tattoo protected and promoted safe and quick healing. I would (and do) recommend her and Triumphant Arts to all of my friends and family. I can’t wait to go back!

Angel is the best! Went to her for my 1st tattoo and had the best experience ever! I couldn't be happier with my art! She was fast and very detailed.

I’m sure other artists there are good, avoid Rena though.
Skills need some more work, she tried to say smooth curves were impossible on the back bc of shoulder muscles and color shifts needed black lines to age properly both of which are not true lol

But the big issue was that she Altered my design without discussing then was unwilling to own up to the mistake. Seems immature and underdeveloped.

Aaron Troy has a horrible temper and customer service and that makes for a poor business owner. I’ll keep it brief and let the photos speak for themselves. Inconsistent shading, blown out lines, missing ink, color spotting, injury to my skin. Angel, who gave me the tattoos, is a sweet girl but she is inexperienced therefore her hourly rate shouldn’t be set so high. She needs to work on her communication skills with her clients so there isn’t any misunderstanding when it comes to a tattoo she is permanently placing on someones body. She placed background behind my tattoo that I didn’t agree to. I’ll spare you the drama I encountered when I contacted Aaron to express my concerns, he was in no way helpful. Just know that I reached out to Aaron in hopes of some sort of resolution and he isn’t seasoned enough to take any accountability as a business owner. I’ve filed with the consumer complaint department and also the better business bureau out of a feeling of helplessness. Aaron’s response to all this was that I had buyer’s remorse due to the placement of my tattoo, and how my friends and family viewed me, not the tattoo itself. It’s very frustrating when someone puts words in your mouth that are the farthest thing from the truth. I’m fortunate enough to have been able to have another tattoo artist make corrections to the tattoos from Angel. I, in no way feel remorse because of the placement of any of my tattoos, I have been getting tattoos for 18 years. The only feeling I have is disappointment and regret having done business in such a place.

Ryan Q did my forearm piece yesterday, I absolutely love it! It came out beautiful and the entire experience with him was great. I highly recommend him for any custom work you are looking to get, he truly wants his work to come out the best that it can. Will be coming back for my upper arm sleeve!

I've been tattooed my Angel three times now and I absolutely love her! She is very clean and professional. She makes me feel so comfortable. I love her art and will keep coming back! Her art is well worth the long drive I make.

This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I called on a Saturday as a walk-in and the owner said he has someone that could squeeze me in. So, I thought great! When I walked in he failed to tell me it’s a minimum of $100 and they don’t take debit/credit cards. I asked the girl - who was an apprentice (failed) to tell me that as well… if I could just get my grandmother’s name on my forearm. I paid the girl via Venmo because I was told cash only and even tipped an extra $20 for squeezing me in. Right after and for 48 hours my arm felt like it was on fire. It was so raised due to her being very heavy-handed and it was peeling in chunks with some color missing due to scarring. I went in to express my concerns and the owner looked at with his sunglasses on? Said it was fine and sent me in my way. I will never return here. I will pay someone else to fix it. Be aware of this place and go elsewhere

I've had such a great experience with all of the work I've had done at Triumphant Arts! Angel did an amazing job of covering up an old tattoo that I hated so much! I would recommend her 100%. The shop is clean, the artists are friendly and insanely talented!
