Sometimes it takes a season for a lawn care professional to determine exactly what treatments are going to realize the best weed eradication, fertilize for peak growth and reverse any poor judgement calls made by a prior landscaper. TruGreen did not give up on my goals for establishing my new yard. Feeling grateful and thankful!

Where to begin… From the beginning, spoke to the salesman from TruGreen about a magnolia scale that was suffocating my tulip tree out. He sold me on the service for my tree and shrubs for the scale. I paid $357.00 for the service and a week later the guy was out to do my first service.
The technician got out of his truck and wondered how he was going to spray the trees, considering they were over 15 feet tall. His comment to me was we can’t spray trees over 15 feet tall we can’t reach. Common sense and hindsight, I should’ve known that when I was talking to the salesman and he convinced me that he could reach my 30 foot tall tree, they most likely couldn’t. But bless the poor technician. He tried very hard to reach the tree as much as he could.
A month later, the technician returns to do a second service. I looked at the invoice and lo and behold I’m being charged for fertilization and insect control. Hmmmm…. That’s not what I paid for so I called and what an explanation why I was being charge for items that I did not ask for?
Instead of answering my question, they try to sell me on another service. Fast forward three days, I called again and requested a refund on the services that they did not perform. Our refund was issued for $222 and my service was terminated. Now fast forward a week later I got a phone call from a salesman asking me if they could come out and treat my tree for the magnolia scale that they were supposed to do the first time, but he wants to charge me for it and sign another contract. Hmmmmm… NO Thanks! You should be coming out here and treating my tree free of charge not asking me to pay again for something you should’ve treated the correct way to begin with and took $137.00 of my money (not refunded).
If you’re going to use TruGreen for your services, please make sure you read your invoices and you’re being charged for exactly what you asked for.
Just an Update: my tulip tree may have to be cut down because it is in very bad shape because they did not treat it the way it was supposed to be treated the first time. The scale is damaging the tree to a point it may not be able to be saved because of wasted so much time on TruGreen.

Can't rate quality until the grass seed kicks in. However, Stephan was a very nice, pleasant and friendly man.

Stephan was very professional and informative about what he was doing. I hope he will be assigned here each visit! I am looking forward to having a new and happily growing lawn. We really need it.thanks Stephan

Great company call these folks first, they are very good and super friendly I was an employee I enjoyed my time there and learning with a professional team I'm also a customer because well I got to witness first hand how well TruGreens lawn care works it's pretty cool actually

Horrible. Trying to get a local manager on the phone is impossible. Too big of a company. I called several times trying to get assistance and at one point I believe I spoke to someone in the Bahamas. This is my last year with them.

The issue was a pretty simple one that they made more complicated than needed.

At one point a tech came to my house to ‘talk to me about my issue. ’ I was not home and he apparently felt the need to put one of the yard signs on my lawn indicating the lawn was fertilized. No fertilizer just the stupid sign.

It's a company that address your problems with solutions and action. Just call and ask.

Guys were friendly and professional. Got right to work and finished the job promptly and carefully. Appreciate them coming back out since their riding aerator couldn't get thru gate. They used the wall behind. Very pleased with service today.

Jadontay was extremely friendly, and was very enthusiastic that we were new customers. He also was very good at explaining what he was doing, and was patient enough to walk around the yard with me so I could show him where our property ends. Great service!

Got to talk to James before the service. James was great, very professional and detailed individual. He is best of what he does. Very knowledgeable of his job

We have used TruGreen for several years now. In May when they arrived to do our treatment. My husband asked if it would burn our lawn because we were in a drought. The attendant said no. Wrong! Our lawn was burnt worse than any of our neighbors. We pay for lawn service for our lawn to look better. Not worse than our neighbors. This time when they showed up we told them no. We even called the Harrisburg office and canceled. 3 hours later the attendant shows up. I went to his car and kindly told him we had already canceled. Then to make things worse, we received notice this morning that they were coming. We will look for another lawn care service who actually listens to us.

Just watched their worker drag a dirt-covered hose across the front of my 2-week old car to get a "hard to reach" part of the lawn instead of moving their truck. This happened at work, so once I got a chance to check their worker had left, but found the damage.
