Unfortunately, the Park Service drained some of the lake to do repair work on the dam.

Still beautiful and peaceful. Some fishermen were still out in their canoes.

Never really crowded. The few people I do encounter are always friendly. Always very clean and weeds and grass are usually trimmed back quite well. I typically store my 10' Jon boat there for the summer. Never had any issues.

One of my favorite places to go. I camp here multiple times a year now. Yurts and cabins are great cost and quality.

The boat launch has it's own parking lot, plenty of room. There's a restroom close by. Easy access to the lake. The ground are well kept. As I write, a park employee is weed wacking and cleaning the launch.

Amazing destination for eagle watching and leaf peeping. On a beautiful October day last weekend, we had been visiting nearby Locust Lake State Park, and decided to on the spur of the moment drive over to Tuscarora, as well. The colors were amazingly vibrant, and there was a single man fishing on the water was smooth like glass. He had a stringer full of fish, and the little boat launch inlet seems to be the perfect fishing spot. The bald eagle that is nesting nearby agrees, as she graced us with her presence when she made her rounds in and out of the inlet and then headed up the lake just before the sunset. I wished that I had a boat so that I could go explore more of the lake. There were lots of kayaks and canoes tied up near the boat launch, so it’s obviously a popular spot.
