Two Stones Pub Kennett Square reviews
19I just devoured the Impossible Burger and Brussels sprouts! Delicious! The food is consistently good, thanks for the plant based options!
One of the best nachos I’ve had in a while! And one of the best burger meats I’ve had in a very long time. I wasn’t too impressed with the truffle fries, however, everything else was amazing. The beer list is interesting and different, but very good. The outside seating is nice and quiet. I would definitely love to come back to Two Stones Pub!
Tom is a real one for real.me and the girls went out to eat after longwood and he was right that PB burger is fire and also hes just a homie.respectfully
Fiesta Chicken was grilled nicely and very flavorful. The avocado rice was creamy. Salad were huge. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes had a sweet flavor and not is not too spicy. Food was colorful and seasoned well. Fish and chips were served hot and crunchy. Yummy! Comfortable seating. Friendly service. I would recommend this restaurant.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Low on plant based eating options. Few (or no) plant based protein choices. Why can't protein options for a salad include beans or tofu?
The bartender was very attentive, friendly, and professional. We didn't have food but just drinks.
Went with wife and 2 kids (11 & 9). Atmosphere and service was OK and was fine. Ordered nachos which were average at best, small for the $14 cost no meat unless upcharge which is fine. Wife got $15 salad which for the size would have expected it to be $10 but she said was good. There were no burgers at all on kids menu so I was left with the decision to order each kid a burger or one to split. Dilemma was that basic burger is $17 NOT including fries which is another $4.50. You would think a $17 burger at a mid level bar restaurant would be good size but was not the case and fries were size of a medium at fast food place. I ordered fish tacos which were flat out nasty. We are not typically picky but the sauce on the was unidentifiable in flavor and not in a good way. The fish was dripping wet in the inside with no taste, only ate one.
Overall, We would not go back. Food was nothing to back for and very overpriced not to mention portions very small.
Really great menu with seasonal specials. The mushroom soup is a must try and the staff is amazing. Casey, our waitress, was super gracious & accommodating! The only down side is the salt levels which are high, but don't cross the line unless you order multiple coursses (as we did and we don't regret it!)
The food at Two Stones is consistently good and the ingredients are always fresh. This restaurant has a cool atmosphere and we enjoy coming here often.
Great service! Some interesting food choices at this pub in the mall! Dawn was an incredible server and I really loved her suggestions! Worth the stop if you are close!
Wings! Really really great. Pretty on the plate, crispy, hot is hot, but my face didn't sweat too hard and my mouth wasn't on fire. We also had the bbq tacos.they were so good I didn't get a picture of them! They also have the best selection of beers and ciders.all really close to Longwood Gardens!
$2 for an additional thin slice of bread was disappointing when we weren’t told about this extra charge. Mushroom soup was comforting and not too salty unlike other soups around this area. Udon bowl had a Latin American sauce, very strange but fiancé said it was okay. Service was pleasant.
Awful experience, we requested a table and they gave us a place were the AC was not working, when I realized the rest of the restaurant the AC was working and there are available tables I requested to be moved. The answer in a very mean way was you need to be on the waiting list (no real waiting list), they did not want to moved us because that corner was for a particular waitress and nobody wanted to to be there due to the lack of AC. After I said we will wait for the “waiting list” the bad attitude person said good evening, then we left!
What an awful service and attitude.
I do not recommend this restaurant!
Food was tasty and fresh. We all loved our meals. Brussels sprouts appy was awesome and my pulled pork sammy was deelish! Decent beer selection, but not great, thats why no 4th star. Plenty of fine 2SP drafts, but but guest beers were not exciting. Bottle and can selections were limited. Also, surprisingly not 1 imperial stout to be found, no drafts, no bottles, no cans.and it's almost the 2nd week in October! Sheesh.c'mon 2SP you're better than that!
Second time we have been very disappointed with the quality of the food at this location. There's always a surprise extra charge for something (like some of the sauce to go with the dab they served with entrée). Sautéd vegetable were very bitter because 'that's the way we fix them'. Also the ice tea was brewed way to stronge and that can't be fixed.
The hostess looked and acted like her boyfriend just dumped her… didn’t say a word seating us. Then we waited for a server for 9 mins. Restaurant is only half full and tons of staff continually walked by us. We left.
Applebees was happy to serve us (of all places).
My buddy and I were in town for the afternoon and decided to stop in for a bite while we were here. We had the stacked nachos to start, voluptuous fuzz beer, and I had the Peebee and Jay burger. Once the nachos came out, not a word was said until the last chip was gone, and once that plate was empty we looked across the table at each other in absolute amazement. Obviously, hopes were high for my burger and his sandwich. They met those hopes and surpassed them. The food and beer here was outstanding, and so was the service. Absolutely insanely good. I eat out all the time and this has surpassed any restaurant experience I’ve ever had. You guys are awesome
Fish taco appetizer makes a meal with Baby Bob beer! We did as take out several times during pandemic and on the patio last week.
Great local place. Had meatloaf (pork & beef) plate. It was delicious. My wife had noodles in broth, it was also delicious. Prices were reasonable. Good drinks. Service was outstanding.
