I’m new to 13 Stripes, and everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. I’m so glad the coaches are focused on safety and correct form for us newbies. I’m learning so much and always look forward to my sessions!

This gym is a great place and it is for everyone from novice to advanced athlete. The coaches and owners are amazing and will meet you where you are in your fitness, which maybe you have never worked out before. They will also challenge you to do more than you thought was possible.

Growing up an athlete, I thought that having fun with athletics ended after high school/college, and I took a few years off from any kind of consistent exercise. Eventually, I wanted to get back in shape, but I struggled with motivation. It felt like working out as an adult was a “chore” that you had to grind through to stay healthy. It was lonely and truly felt like a chore. I tried a Crossfit workout while traveling and was instantly intrigued and mystified, and I loved it. I spent the next few months trying different WODS on my own at the gym because I was still hesitant to make the financial commitment to join an affiliate. I checked out a couple of different Crossfit’s in the area online and just had a gut feeling that 13 Stripes was the one I should join.

13 Stripes has shown me that being an adult athlete is possible.for anyone! Working out DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A CHORE! It can be fun, challenging, and inspiring. Fitness has once again become part of my lifestyle, not a “necessarily evil” to stay in shape. I thought that my fitness level peaked in high school and ever trying to regain that was a lost cause. I am now the strongest I have ever been and having fun while doing it.

In addition, I have made new friends, no, new BEST friends that are a part of the wonderful community. My only regret about joining 13 Stripes is that I didn’t join sooner
