As bad as it gets. In the burbs. Driver at the wrong location. I was waiting where he waa supose to pick me up. Drove right by and was charged 5.00. Just called today again and was told to be ready. Only to find out it would be 45 minutes! How is Uber still in business? Sucks all together. Took a regular cab. Cost more but unlike uber got me me there on time

Very disappointed with their fair policy. They show one price at the booking and once the ride is over I get charge something else and more than what I booked for. ($15-$20 more). They I had to send them email provide the proof and then wait for their response.they have reverted the extra charges.but who keeps track of booking amount and charged amount.

Terrible app and website. The drivers are nice if you are lucky but they charge you for everything and anything; it's ridicous! The price ranges are insane; one ride for the same distance in different areas can cause you twice the price. For example two miles in South Philly can charge you $8.71, two miles in West Philly can cost you $17.42. Do not use Uber if anything take a cab or try Lyft.

Uber is one of the worst with helping their drivers and with collecting money from everyone. I have been driving for 2 years with Uber and I have encountered quite a few issues with the way Uber does their business. 1) the help they provide to their drivers is terrible. I had to contact Uber through their app because they were missing a trip from my account or were missing a cancellation fee. Sometimes a Uber assistant will reply on the app and will ask for the details of the trip which we don’t have any record of because it is MISSING from the account. Then i will still give them them the info.and after few minutes a different Uber agent will respond asking for the details again and theis will repeat like 5 times before I give up and call them. Then I will have to repeat the whole process on the phone call. At the end of the call they will say they have added the payment for the trip into the account and it may not show in my account until 48hrs. Then after 4 days I will remember to check the trip if it came in the account and what do you know it is still missing and then you call again and repeat full process again and then at the end of this second phone and after 96 hrs and like 7 different Uber agents we will get our cancellation fee added. I have proof of this if Uber wants to do something about this.

2) navigation is very very faulty. Few times driving in Philadelphia the uber’s Navigation will guide me to turn onto a one-way in the opposite direction. Many times it will bring us to the back of the address or on a side street when the address clearly states a different location of the address. Why can’t Uber’s navigation work like other navigation systems and navigate us to the address itself? Many times it will ask to make a turn into a very very narrow streets where only a buggy can fit through. I have a suv and it can surely not fit thought them. Finally one good thing is the new live location sharing from customers so thank you for that.

3) so Uber takes 25% from the fare which is ok because that’s already declared. Then Uber will charge a very random service fee to the customers. These service charge along with the 25% from the fare equals way more than what the drivers are paid. And even after charging big amounts of service fee what is the service Uber providing to customers or the drivers. Terrible navigation, very very poor quality of Uber agents who barely even tries to help the drivers or customers for their issues through the app.

4) Uber need to pay out little more or charge customers little more now. Specially when the gas prices increases. Uber rates are like four times less than cabs so even if Uber raises their prices by 50% it will still be cheaper than cabs. Uber’s needs to think off their drivers a little bit more. Uber needs to lower the amount of money it puts in its pockets.

5) change their algorighitms for long pickups. Sometimes I receive Uber pool requests literally 25minutes away about 11-14 miles away and when we get there we will receive like $3 for the long pick up fee and the rider will go less than a mile away.so we will end up earning like $6 for a 35-45min worth of drive and after the gas and time wasted in the trip we will make like $4-$5. Then when I check how much Uber made it will say 30 cents from fare and will charge service fee to customer of $10. So while we make like $4-5 driving 45 minutes and Uber’s makes $10.60 for doing nothing just connecting driver to customer. What are we (drivers) slaves to the Uber corporation who can earn billions on the backs of millions of drivers who are scammed basically into thinking they are earning a lot.
6) one very good thing about Uber is that it is very very flexible for drivers and and very convienance and cheap for riders. But Uber is forgetting that they can raise the prices a little bit because customers are not going to stop using Uber because it is convienant at any time, anywhere and will still be cheaper than the normal cabs.
Hopefully someone who works at Uber and gives a **** about Uber will do something.

I have never been in a place with some many incompetent individuals that don’t know how to answer simple questions and doesn’t own the situation and help to resolve it. Once you challenge them all the can say is I don’t know.
I was helped by two different individuals. Let me take that back, I wasn’t helped I lost two hours with no solution.

I do not use uber a lot, but time to time. In ONE night in Philadelphia I had two ubers cancel on me and I had to wait for a second pick-up. The first time I guess the uber driver wasn't happy that we were on the opposite side of the street. He couldn't wait for us to cross the street. The second one was because he drove past us and didn't want to wait for us to walk to him. This is a business, and these drivers should be responsible for their pick-ups and held accountable, unless of course the cancellation was for a legitimate reason, such as not putting themselves in a hostile situation. I've never had this happen to me by a taxi, and if this happens again, I will be going back to taxi service. The rates are not that good anymore and half the time your sitting in someone's dirty back seat.

There's literally no support for Uber eats drivers, and I'm in pretty bad shape because of McDonald's employees who hate their life and gave me bad ratings and drunk people who put in the wrong addresses for their deliveries along with the general mix of people who just wanted the money refunded back to them so they could get away with Uber bringing them their food for free. Being an Uber eats employee is a living nightmare if you end up in the same situation as me. And phone support tries but just can't help you with Uber eats. So my questions is why have an app if you don't want to actually have live support for that app for anyone else besides the customers.
Also did I mention the fact that you could drive 20 minutes to a destination to pick up food and you also won't get paid for that if something goes wrong and someone else takes the food? The only way you get paid is if you pick up the delivery on your phone and cancel the trip once the gps starts to their house.
What a Great set up right?

No how about that being almost every other delivery at McDonald's and now my instant pay was taken away from me to penalize me. How legitimate! How great that a company who says they are legitmate doesnt even treat people on the other side right I guess they don't realize this doesn't just ruin Uber's reputation as a whole. This will make it easier for another app to come along and treat their employee's better.

Uber steal money from drivers. I drove a rider and he told me on hos own free will that he paid 30 for his ride once I dropped him off i was paid 12 dollars. What uber works with people who are not educated and do not do there math regarding business expense. At the end of the day gas, taxes, miles placed on car and your time drivers average 5.00 per hour. Uber has these perks where there actually givng you your money back that you were to get paid in the first place. Driving with uber your savings are not going to increase you actually get poorer. Save time and work at Mcdonalds

Worst place ever! Never encounter so many incompetent individuals without any knowledge on the field all they can say is I don’t know you have to call them and find out and I ask this is why I’m here for so you can help me. I don’t know that’s what they keep telling me.
