I love coming here so much! I love everything about this store and everyone in here seems super nice except this one girl Hannah who doesn’t seem to have a personality whatsoever! I swear every single time I wait in line I get stuck having her check me out and she’s just very short and rude! If you work in retail and have someone who seems like they get irritated when you ask a question about a product or try having a conversation then you shouldn’t be working here.

I really needed to get my hair cut and decided to see if the salon was taking walk-ins. I was pretty nervous because I've put off treating myself like this for a long time. I was approached by Brendan who told me they were taking walk-ins and that he could work with me. I gave him a vague idea of what I wanted done and he explained what would work and what wouldn't. I was impressed by his confidence, honesty, and ability to work with curly hair. He made me feel at ease and my nervousness slipped away. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and always asked if I was comfortable. I often feel weird about beauty and hair things, but Brendan made the experience enjoyable. We had a nice conversation, too. He gave me a great haircut that had me walking away with confidence and a sense of getting a lot of weight off of my shoulders. He's a gem.

The staff are super nice and they have a pretty fair inventory selection. Do not be alarmed if anyone there complements your girlfriend’s makeup!

I've been here several times since I've moved back to Pittsburgh. The store is always very clean and everyone was very friendly. One of the staff members went above and beyond. I wanted to get but a lip and cheek tint from Stilla. But I was unsure if it was cruelty free or not because I only use products that are cruelty free. This wonderful staff took the time to verify that it was cruelty free. She also took the time to demo the product for me on her hand. Superb customer experience, and I will continue to show my loyalty for Ulta by continuing to shop there. I hope that this store does recognition of some sort for staff members who excel in their positions as that woman did! Thank you very much!

Best store for all your makeup and bath bad body needs. They have tons of different makeup brands, lot of shampoo and conditioner to choose from. They also carry styling tools. Don't forget to get your birthday gift when that times comes. I love this store so much! Highly recommend

Everyone - and I do mean everyone - was so helpful! Stylists, counter, manager, product reps all helped me find what I was looking for with great attitudes and good cheer!

Love love Stephanie she is the best! Did a fabulous job on my hair. Didn't the mistake of a color choice would come out, but it did. You want blonde go there specifically to her. Also Megan the brow girl is incredible she's awesome at what she does! Will never go elsewhere

Got my hair done by Dani and she was absolutely amazing! She came in an hour before opening and was so sweet and friendly! Loved everything about my first salon experience!

I usually love this store however I have a somewhat different opinion after being treated so poorly this evening. First of all in this time when retail is falling to eCommerce, customer service is extremely important. I work long hours and completely understand that retail hours are difficult but I do not expect to be treated poorly and told “you do know we close at 7 pm” as I just walk through the door. No smile as I checked out spending over $100 and the manager not even acknowledging my presence is something I won’t tolerate. I will go to Sephora next time. Also I can order my MAC products directly from MAC. Sad. Used to be one of my favorite stores.

Kaleigh went far above and beyond my wildest expectations providing me the best experience I have ever had in the Ulta Salon.

When I come in with wearing sweat pants and no make up on, workers are rude and unprofessional. However, when I come in with make up on and nice clothes (from work or whatever), they are extremely nice and give compliments. So sad that they are socially biased.

I usually have a good experience at this Ulta location and usually staff are friendly. However, I have to leave a negative review due to what I faced today. The staff member working at the salon answering the phone was very unprofessional when I was trying to schedule and kept insisting that I did not have an appointment even though I had a confirmation text sent to me to confirm. When I tried to schedule for another time I was very rudely told no and that nothing was available. I love the store but customer service of the staff skills definitely need to be improved. Will not be returning.

Great staff, super helpful! I love that they carry high end and drugstore brands in the same place. Great rewards program.

Great selection of products but are always out of any free gifts that come with purchase. Even the birthday gift was sold out and they made no attempt to offer something else in its place. Guess you have to be friends with an employee to get a free sample of something.

I went to the salon at this Ulta and saw Lauren. She does an amazing job with my hair and I always leave with it looking healthier than when I came in. She’s attentive and listens to what I want, while also giving me advice on how to have healthier hair.

I go there to get my eyebrows done by Courtney and always have a great experience. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I’ve also had my bangs cut by the salon and they’ve always done a great job. This is my favorite Ulta!

UPDATE A MONTH LATER: I’m STILL staining towels after my shower. I’ve had this exact color done in my hair before. It’s what I used for years (albeit a different brand) so I understand that some washing out is normal with a redder hair color. This is a month later and it’s STILL turning my white towels orange when I get out of the shower. I couldn’t go to the pool for weeks because the second my hair got wet I would get embarrassing orange drops dripping down my skin. So not only was this a terrible cut and color that was 100% not what was discussed or booked, but now it’s ruining things at home and costing me time this summer.

So incredibly disappointed with my services. I booked an appointment for a cut and Multi-Tone Color, really wanting some fun dimensions to my hair. I have thick hair so I typically buy a color and developer from Sally Beauty and do my hair myself. But I decided to pay to get it done this time so I could get more than what I can do myself. I talked with the stylist about what different colors I like. All I got was an all over color. Then the cut-she asked about adding long layers in, which I typically get regardless. Except I realized when I left that when she added the layers in, she took some off of the overall length but only in certain spots, so now I’m left with an uneven haircut.
She didn’t style it at all, just a blow dry. And again, I have thick hair so without taking a flat iron to it, it’s just awkwardly big.
A few times she took some color removing pads to my skin and said I was good to go. When I got to my car, my skin was drenched in color. My *entire* right ear was red from the dye, both inside and out, I was literally scooping gobs of color out from inside of my ear. The left side of my face had a streak about 1” wide and 4” long of just color. There were several large spots on the front of my neck, and the entire back of my neck was covered. I literally had to sit in my car for 20 minutes scrubbing at my skin with the baby wipes I had in my car. When I do my hair myself my skin is NEVER that bad. Then I got home and my daughter asked what happened to my back. Turns out there are red spots all over my shirt, now ruining that shirt, which I really loved.
I’m disappointed that Ulta would hire a stylist so incredibly careless and not mindful of what the client wants. And I’m even more disappointed that I spent far more money than I ever do on myself for hair services and was left with something so much worse than what I could have done myself.
Highly recommend NOT going to this salon unless what you’re having done is incredibly simple, and even then, it wouldn’t be worth the cost.

Very nice people and the store has everything you need for your make up and fragrances and hair stuff.
