I have to say thank you to you guys for being severely nice everyone else walked past us look dirty at us such a weird thing when I’m spending money at your store

I'm new to makeup like a lot of people! Always had issues matching colors with my complexion I walked into Ulta hoping to be greeted and assisted in picking out the best options for beginners.instead it seemed like they just flat out judged me! Dirty looks immediately and disrespect! I wanted to purchase things to practice before my wedding anniversary and it turned out terrible! They absolutely don't need to be rude or snoody! I work in retail and never once treated a customer or my employees with that much disrespect! They stand around laughing at people that generally just need a little help and understanding!

$311 dollars later the ELITE stylist colored my hair gave me "elite" cut which was shorter version of what I had.blew dry, threw in some hair gell and sent me on my way.if you are going to charge these prices I better be wowed.the only wow i experienced was to my credit card!

I wish I could give more! I had an appointment only to put strip lashes on with Mary, and she has asked “have you ever had your makeup done before” and I said “no but I wish I would’ve made an appointment to have my makeup done” she then offered to fit me in to do my makeup for my wedding day. She made me feel beautiful for the first time in a long time and helped make my day special. I can’t thank you enough Mary!

I don't think this place is anything special. I went in looking to try something new while on vacation. I wandered the store for a few minutes looking for anything that may work as I don't want to travel with full sized products, but would like to look my best. I was greeted, but never offered any assistance, nor did i ask especially since asking for help in the past got me a lot of attitude and everyone seemed to busy chit chatting. It may be the way I look.as I have come I several times in the past with similar results. I always feel judged walking in.especially if I don't have a full face of makeup on. I don't think I'll go back. Very disappointed.

Last week was the first time I ever stepped foot into an Ulta store. DJ at the MAC counter was so delightful and very helpful. I was very happy with the service and personalized attention, especially since my visit was very impromptu.

I like going here to get my hair done. They do a professional job. They have great Customer Service. They talk to you and make you feel special.

I could not have had a more wonderful experience than I did shopping here today. I went in looking for a new foundation, not feeling very confident in my ability to pick out the right one. One of the makeup artists, DJ, asked if I needed help and instead of just pointing me to one that would work, they helped me do a test run. The first one we tried was perfect, and they ended up offering to finish the application with concealer and blush! It was so simple, and yet I spent the rest of the day feeling so good about how I looked that I was sad about taking the makeup off at night! I left with a few tips, all of the products that were used, and some new confidence in my makeup journey thanks to their kindness!

I’ve been shopping at ulta for years and have never had this poor of customer service as I have today. No one greeted me when I entered and the girl at the counter purposely avoided eye contact so she didn’t have to say hello. There were two employees on the floor but they were chatting instead of asking customers if they needed help. I watched an elderly women who was obviously having trouble finding things wander around the store and no one asked her if she needed assistance. I was also struggling to find what I needed and it seemed like employees were purposely trying to avoid helping me. The girl who checked me out was extremely cold and did not smile once. No one said anything when I left. I will not be returning to this location. Employees acted like I was shopping at Chanel or Louis Vuitton when in fact I was at Ulta (not even a higher end makeup store like Sephora lol) I work in retail as well and I would never treat customers this way.

The 1 star is not for Ulta itself, just the store. Ulta will forever be my beauty needs go to.online.
I had a strange customer experience yesterday and was debating even giving a review but decided I should on the off chance a professional growth opportunity could come out of it. I was in the Mechanicsburg store to do some Christmas shopping yesterday morning when I unfortunately caught a conversation between two team members. It was hard to not hear and the comments they were making on the appearances of other women and the degrading things being said. I decided to leave without purchasing anything and just do my online shopping on Ulta's website as it's not the company or the products/ prices that are the issue. I belive in women uplifting each other and this was definitely not that. One of the girls I didn't recognize, but the other has always seemed so nice and genuine in the past, it's a shame. Customers of every age, shape, color and gender should ALWAYS feel welcome in your stores.
