Union County Sportsmen's Club reviews
15Great service and friendly staff. My husband's family ran this club about 70 years ago. We try to visit every year.
Deserve 5 - most of the locals are not technology savvy. The 1 stars are all about the bear. That bear was old. If he would of been someone's rug years ago. I dont think the reviews would be so skewed. Food is great. Membership is worth it. Range is open most times. A small little animal sanctuary. And most importantly, they are the reason the susquehanna has an abundance of trout to fish.

Great place to eat, and have a drink, beautiful well kept wildlife area, I encourage anyone that doesn't get to experience the outdoors, to visit and learn respect for nature's animals. There is no charge to visit. Unlike PETA, that charges people to view animals they extorted from caring establishments.
I've been camping their for 40 years and the club just raised lease for a year to $800 up from $600 last year and up from $400 the year before. They do not provide water, sewer and we pay for electric and everything else that gets done to our site. They provide a couple of buckets of stone per year to fill in the road. Where the money goes that they collect no one knows. Think there should be an investigation. Thinking of going to Penn's Creek camp grounds $1100 and they provide water and sewer. That's your best bet. This place is going down hill.
For all of you to know: Dillan the bear is at the WildlAnimal Sanctuary outside of Denver CO. He had more than 12 teeth removed due to neglect.
Today was the first day, after 3 months being there that he was let out o t the large area to share woth three other bears.
He’s doing well, lost a lot weight and he should be happy there. You can follow them and see him on their Instagram page.
Love going up here we go every year for the gun raffle. They are very organized. We also love the club they ha e a nice dining room with buffets on Friday and Saturdays and they also have wildlife to see outside!
A well maintained club. My son especially loves the animals (the pheasants are his favorite.) And it's awesome that the restaurant is open to the public; my brother is a member but I am not. My son and I still go often to see the animals and enjoy a good meal.
Such a fun experience! Food was REALLY GOOD and reasonable. We will be going back again soon. They have animals to visit for free, fish to feed, and a beautiful atmosphere. Gun range and mini golf! Such a cool place. Did a mention a playground? They have that too!
Great food and interesting to see that animals. Our little girl loved them and the trail where we saw a frog, chipmunk and a big snapping turtle!
Great family atmosphere. They have buffets on Friday, Saturday, and sundays. The menu itself is fairly priced and good priced drinks. You MUST be a member to purchase alcohol.
They have a play ground for the kids. They also have a bunch of animals like white tailed deer (fawns in the spring), bear, raccoon, Bobcats, turkeys, pheasants, and trout.
There is a 300 yard shooting range. Must be a member for this as well.
Membership is only 25 dollars a year and well worth it.
I love to camp there I like to watch the animals I like to ride bikes down the nature trail I also enjoy the people there they are always so nice and is willing to talk or to help solve a problem or something that happened
This is why I like the Union County Sportsmen's club
I love UCSC! A wonderful place with something for everybody. Many, many wonderful memories there. You do not need to be a member to enjoy it either. Food is outstanding too!
Always a great time with family and meeting new friends, Turkey and Ham Shoots always stood time. Food and drink are always just like home, keep up the good work CLUB!
My family enjoyed the food, mini-golf, playground, and the nature trail. The animals were very depressing though.
