It's not just about the dogs, (although they rule in my world I confess). I had a vague idea of what UDS did, but after a tour yesterday, I'm truly amazed. The breadth of the services is astounding. It's wonderful to know there is a place that serves so many people, of vastly different ages, challenges and needs, headquartered right here in Central PA. Thank you for the difference you are making, UDS!
I have been with United Disabilities Services for several years now... Even though they are over-taxed with so many customers and so many things to do for us, UDS provides EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES! Out of all the Support Services around, UDS by far surpasses them! TYSVM UDS for providing us with the much needed services here in our home!
What does this place even do? ! Every time my mother needed to utilize her service coordinator for resources, she was just given a long list of names and told to blindly choose one. 90% of the resources they provided her don't even serve the county she lives in. They don't fact check the information they give out to people. I should be paid her service coordinator's salary because I basically did her job the entire time my mother was working with them. Not to mention her service coordinator was NEVER at work, I constantly had to email upper management to get an answer for anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone in need of service assistance. They literally do nothing but give you one headache after another.
