6Worst post office ever. Lazy fat dude that drives the blue chevy truck that deliveries the mail cannot even delivery the mail right. He sits behind the wheel and eats twinkies all the time. He is afraid if he gets out of the truck to delivery the mail he might lose weight. He is a waste of space.
Very incompetent.
Always lose packages, put someone else's mail in your box, & have one very rude girl working the front desk. It's a shame I live in Dalton, I really despise this post office.
Worst post office ever! I sent out my car insurance payment via money order directly from the post office. It took them 9 days to postmark the letter and my insurance was cancelled because of it.
The woman closing on weekdays is extremely rude and should not be working in any type of customer service role. She is an extremely unprofessional employee and I do not understand how she holds that position. I only assume it is the same woman everyone else has criticized on here.
They put my mail in my neighbors PO Box as well.
Alway's kind, speedy, expert service. Many time's have aided me in finding proper method, or cared enough to mention if my packing needed extra touch. Amazing how a few different ladie's, all know the job so we'll. Im in between 3 of the best branches around, DaltonWaverlyLaPlume. Peggy, my route carrier, alway's cheery and never makes a mistake. Suprising with such a large route to deliver. Any Complaints is when they must fill in her run while she is on holiday, might only be small office branch but the delivery run she cover's, takes 2 vehicles when she is off on vacation. She know's every home and person. Must be patient and show understanding with smaller branches as often time's to conserve labor expense, may be only one staff member attending the counter and phone support so be kind, good people at these branches. The USPS try's to time lunch from 11-12 with the Waverly branch that is 1 mile south east and LaPlume branch 34 of a mile North. Very smart choice. If you happen to be there during their lunch, within 1 mile are 2 other branches open.
