13This is the third time I’ve had mail not delivered on time or to the wrong mailbox. I use a tracking app and apparently I had a customer request to leave it at the post office…which I did not. Another time I had to call my neighbors and ask if they had my mail and they did. When I order online it’s normally expensive and I don’t like that it could end up at someone’s house and never make it to mine.
I live in Shippensburg for the last 18 years by far never had a problem. All answers were correct of knowledge. The same workers have been there since I’ve been gone they’re very helpful and kind. All you have to do is say good morning or good afternoon how are you be kind to them
Somehow Everytime I think they can't get any worse they somehow do, between my own mail not getting where it needs to go or mail being delivered to me having issues they somehow get worse
By far the worst post office I’ve ever used. Useless and unreliable- exactly what you want when transporting mail, not.
Post master is full of excuses but not information. Count on them doing what’s easiest, not what’s best, let alone what’s right.
I will take the extra time to use fedex or ups from now on, this place is beyond a joke.
Counter staff is nice enough, but again, useless.

I just dropped off a box for shipping and bought some stamps. Both guys at the front counter were excellent in both friendliness and willingness to help me and other customers who were there.
Got a message saying no authorized recipient available from the package tracking app I use. Was home all day with door open. No attempt was made to deliver my package. No notice message was left either. Postman never showed up to delivery but used the excuse no one was available. This is not the first time it has happened either from our good old joke of a post office in Shippensburg. Wish I could rate 0 stars but that's not an option
Lost my package when I called back the next week they picked up and hung up then took the phone off the hook so it's busy now the worst people live is shippensburg hate this town and this post office
I talked to somebody on the phone to see if a package was delivered. I was told they were looking right at the package, and I could come pick it up. I got there and was told I had to pay $25 if I wanted the package. The front desk would not compromise. For some reason they would rather deliver the package, wasting time/fuel, than just release it. Odd practice. Fairly bad service, which is a shame because the mail carriers are all fantastic. Now, I will add this, it is the federal government and the front desk could not have changed their decision. However reviews are based on most recent events. So, this review is for the postal system that made the rules the front desk was required to follow, which resulted in poor service. If it was my job or break the rules, I'd choose my job any day.
The audacity that the individuals with this organization have is baffling. While I understand that they do not make the policies that the USPS has, their implementation and demeanor is seriously flawed. Poor customer service from the individuals working the desk/answering phones to the individuals who deliver. I'd rather chew off my own hands than do business with the USPS, especially this location.
I wish I could give it zero stars because of usps not taking responsibility when I personally dropped off my rent check to my landlord to be shipped out by the Shippensburg PA usps location and I was facing eviction because the rent check never arrived at my landlords house I will never use usps ever again because of this incident ps I was told by an employee when I confronted the Shippensburg pa usps for my rent check never arriving at my landlords house I was told that if I didn't ship the rent check through certified mail then usps is not responsible for any lost item in their care
Tell me how after moving over a yr ago would this post office still ship my xmas packages to old address! Then when I call post office yest the woman who answered was not nice at all untill I told her I moved over a yr ago.she then said she have mail driver go retrieve my package last night n to watch my tracking.the package was never retrieved tho! So I lost my package!?
I had a great experience, an employee did everything they could to help me get the best price for shipping.
