I don't even write reviews, but this one has to be done. This office manager at this place is horrible. The first time I went there she wouldn't let me in the program because she said I got smart with her nurse. This is medically necessary. I just went thru 6 months of this program so I should be scheduled for my surgery but no. She said she dropped me from the program? I paid out of pocket fees and my insurance paid. I asked her why and she said I would get a letter in the mail. I found out what was in the letter, and it is all incorrect. I called my insurance and they conference called and this lady was horrible. She got smart and hung up the phone up on us. The insurance Rep apologized to me for having to go thru this. She said she couldn't believe what happened. Like I said, It 's medically necessary. So, since the first incounter I had to get a total knee replacement and plates in both feet. This is crazy, I have never seen anything like this before.

Scheduled an appointment for medical weight loss management. Got to my appointment and was told they no longer do medical weight loss management, only weight loss surgery. Would have been nice to be told this before I had my appointment as I would have canceled it. Wasted 2 hours of my time (on the road and at the appointment) for nothing. I don't appreciate a surgery being pushed on me that I don't want.

The nutritionist and physicians assistants I have worked with here are great. But be warned if you have severe mental illness because they do not like to work around it. I have diagnosed severe social anxiety, general anxiety and major depressive disorder along with undiagnosed trauma from abuse. I communicated this to them to begin with and told them that sometimes I have trouble going to appointments. Despite following nutritional guidelines, and showing progress they kicked me out of the program without warning. At no point did anyone say that they would drop me for that even though every time I had to reschedule with my surgeon it was by their request or because I was waiting over an hour to be seen. My surgery date wasn't even scheduled yet and I was working on getting all my clearances and had appointments scheduled for tests. The receptionist when I tried to explain myself and tell her that due to covid, not having a car, and social anxiety kept me from some of my appointments at the beginning told me that the surgery required a life style change and insinuated I was being lazy for not coming in at those times. I feel like that's a shallow judgement that was made based on my weight and should not be something that happens at a weight loss clinic period.

Overall an ok experience. The receptionists are the first people you come in contact with when you enter a facility, and how you are treated from the start determines how the rest of the visit goes or if you'll return.
My first experience wasn't a good one. I came in a bit flustered, didn't complete all my forms and such. After all of that was squared away, I was told the visit's cost, which I knew about. I gave the receptionist my Amex card, which she said to me that they don't take. I told her I’d have to go to my car to get my other card. Before I went for the card, I asked a relatively simple question that was a yes or no answer. She looked at me and said, "You have to pay us before you can go back there. " I was a bit taken aback by her tone and what she said. I then replied I would pay you and then I repeated the question, which was, can I bring the form with me to the info session and fill it out? She said yes. I then went to get my other card and paid what was owed. The grins on their faces and the looks when I returned with my card made it worse, and I just felt beyond uncomfortable for the rest of my time there. I understand that dealing with customers daily can be challenging, and I can even know if I was rude or disrespectful, but I wasn’t.

I don’t think I will continue there. I hate the way they made me feel. The first impression lasts.

I've been a client with them for many, many years due to the lap band procedure.
I had researched many hospitals before getting this procedure done.
This hospital was by far the most genuine, helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
Most of the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
The Drs are top notch.
Dr. Rosenberg always goes above and beyond to help and to be there for his patients.
I wish he had his own private practice because I would love to have him as my Dr for everything.
I wish more Drs would be as caring, knowledgeable and as genuine as he is.

The receptionist is the worst. She has no people skills and is very rude. Dr. Rosenberger is the worst but Dr. DeMarco is a great doctor.
