UPMC Pinnacle Colon and Rectal Surgery, Harrisburg PA

Would not recommend Dr. Andrew John Richard's. He did surgery on my sister in 2010 and she died a week later. After surgery he was too busy to talk to me and my sister about aftercare. She was his last patient and apparently anxious to go home. He had the nurses give my sister 2 pain killers to swallow before she left the surgical center. He wasn't interested in my sister or concerned with her. Wish he had never done the surgery as she would be alive today. She was only 48 years old and left her son behind. I cry almost every day because I took her to have this hemorrhoid surgery. Probably should have told her to use preparation H.

Dr. Jadd Koury mapped out my treatments for colorectal cancer and was spot on. First recommending chemotherapy and then radiation treatments and then surgery. I am now cancer free and I highly recommend Dr Koury as he explained every side effect that I could or could not have. Again, I highly recommend Dr Koury as he a caring doctor and answered all of my questions that I would ask at my appointments and at the hospital.

Doctor and staff and kind, attentive, and good at explaining surgery. A nurse spent 20 minutes on the phone post surgery to help me. Dr Mazza was able to correct a complication a previous surgeon missed. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Covid protocol for entire establishment. Excellent professional service. Excellent intake, reception, care. Doctor Koury was exceptional- very attentive to my concerns, history, and questions. Great care and good "exam-room manner". Great follow-up after examination.
