UPMC Western Behavioral Health of the Alleghenies Children's Behavioral Health Programs reviews
1 We never even got to our first appointment. I spoke to Jason for intake, he was extremely nice. Told me the process and made us feel welcome. I then spoke to a woman named Michelle who was supposed to set up an appointment for the counselor who goes to my son's school. We played a little bit of phone tag because I work a full-time job but when I called to set up my appointment Michelle wasn't in but Bridget was. Bridget is the counselor my appointment was with. So I just made my appointment with her. I then got a phone call from Michelle being extremely rude and condescending that I hadn't called her back to make my appointment with Bridget. I assume there has been some sort of mix-up so I didn't take off work early to go to the appointment that I was just told didn't exist. Then Michelle called me freaking out that I hadn't showed up when I tried to explain what was going on that there had been some sort of mix-up she got extremely rude she yelled at me and she hung up on me. My son is already in a temperamental state and this is not the in kind of environment that I want to take a child with mental health issues. If you can't even handle an adult professionally,
why would I think that you could have handled my child professionally. Do not take your children here! If the way I was treated is any indication of how they are treating children, all it will do is make your problems worse. I wish I could post the voicemails but feel free to comment, I will send them to you.
Edit: When I called asking to speak to a supervisor the front desk refused to give me one.
