URGE FITNESS Fairless Hills PA

I have been trying to cancel this gym for months on end. I went and dropped and letter personally into the gym, but after noticing I was charged beyond the additional two months they make you pay after canceling I called. They informed me they were sorry, but I had to send the letter in via CERTIFIED MAIL then immediately call the gym to let them know it’s coming. Ok fine I went to the Post office and formally sent the letter in. Now today I get charged some $59.00 fee on top of the additional month charge they said I had to pay. I called their billing company for this issue, which they always state they have no relation or liability with, and they stated there was in fact NO RECORD OF ANY CANCELLATION. The gym points me to the billing company who consistently state they cannot help cancel my membership it’s up to the gym who won’t communicate the proper way to cancel with me. I’ve lost hundreds of dollars from this facility. I wouldn’t even be one to ask for a refund for that annual fee you’re charged even though I canceled I just want confirmation I’m done. I wouldn’t care to make all this up and constantly bother this gym.

The GM, Tim, is excellent in customer service and transparency. He does business the right way. The gym is well-equipped with a boxing room, sauna, cardio, and machines my old gym didn’t have.

I have been a member at multiple gyms (retro fitness, fusion, edge, etc) but this is by far the best gym I’ve been to. All of the staff is very nice and very helpful but especially Coach Tim, who has been great with our stretch sessions. I have two preexisting injuries that he has been able to assist with alleviating some of the pain. I feel like I am finally seeing results that I want thanks to these sessions. Very clean facilities. 10/10 would recommend.

I would not advise joining this gym. Please visit all their comments on the BBB website. Every single complaint is just met with the owner calling his customers liars.

The owner is one of the worst human beings I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I genuinely don't know how these people are running a business. They will literally continue to charge you even if you die. Please give any other business your money.

Urge Fitness is a great local gym that has a close knit feel to it. All of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. If you’re from the area it’s a good place to run into people you know as well. The people here make this gym stand out from the rest.

Urge has well maintained equipment and they make sure everything stays clean. They offer classes and training sessions as well. Memberships include 24/7 access which is very convenient if you want to show up after hours or early in the morning. Overall it’s a great place to workout!

Joined in October for childcare and 24 hr gym. Fell in love with the gym and stage staff here. Chuck helped familiarize me with all the services they provide and connected me my stretch therapist Will. This gym feels like a family and my daughter loves it too!

I’ve been to many gyms in the Bucks County area. I’ve yet to visit Urge Fitness in Fairless Hills, until today. I came in the gym looking for a membership, and I was met by very friendly and charismatic employees at the front desk. Tim didn’t hesitate to give me a tour of the place and vividly explain the details of how the gym is maintained and organized. Very pleasant experience and after my first workout here today, I’m definitely here to stay.

I’ve been a member for over a year now. I joined and did personal training for 6 months and eventually joined the stretch program as well. I liked the crowd, cleanliness, amenities, and staff so much that I ended up applying for a job here. I have fun everyday and get to help people reach their fitness goals using the same services and equipment that got me on my fitness journey here. I recommend this gym to all my friends it’s a great place and a steal to only pay 30/month!

I had to unfortunately leave this club this month due to me moving. But this is the best club in the area EASILY. Always clean, everyone is super friendly. Tim and chuck helped me out and they were quick and very nice! If you are in the area you need to join this club. Cheap prices, great equipment, super clean environment!

Great gym, friendly staff that’s always helpful. Chuck and Meagan are always a pleasure to see up front. Highly recommended!

Came in today to renew my membership. Chuck and Ally were really helpful with the process. Great equipment and new sauna is super nice.

Update: I paid the $59.99 yearly charge when I canceled in January (yes, I had to pay for the entire year!), and they just charged me again on March 1 another $59.99! I had file a dispute with my credit card company! Now I keep getting emails saying my April payment is due even though I closed this account! This place is run by thieves!

Worst gym ever! They make it almost impossible to cancel your membership. The owner needs a lesson in customer service. He has no skills in responding to negative reviews, read some of his responses, no customer service/business skills whatsoever. People working the front desk are just as miserable as him. I can’t see how this gym even stays open, it’s a total scam, run!

I've been going to this gym for 6 years (at least) and it's always clean and well maintained. There's no broken equipment and if something breaks it's always promptly scheduled for repair. Good staff, trainers and atmosphere. Not overly crowded from my experience either.

I came from Fusion to Urge Fitness and I love it. The staff and the equipment is so much better. I was also at LA fitness before Fusion and the staff and the equipment was poor. Tim is an amazing manager and Chuck is an awesome lifestyle coach. I do stretch therapy with Alex twice a month and it’s awesome, especially Alex. The rest of the staff is just as friendly and helpful. I don’t have any kids, but it’s awesome that they have daycare! And then the last thing that makes them stick out from other gyms is that’s is so clean! The lady that cleans is always around and cleaning.

I initially went to Urge to sign my son up. When I went in I was pleasantly surprised by the facility. I immediately decided to sign up as well being that I have been out of physical fitness for many years and just recently had an ACL replacement. The sign up process from start to finish was extremely professional and up front. I am now working with Urge's trainers which all have been 10 out of 10 stars! Highly recommend this gym.

Shameless pathetic cash grabbers. I haven’t been a member in over a year, but this experience still angers me. Reading recent reviews, I see they still haven’t changed their ways… they’re just just trying to hide their insidious nature behind the smiles of a few strangers. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

They lure you in with free months at the end of your contract, but if you wish to end your contract they tell you that you need to give 60 days notice. If you cancel with 3 free months left, aka 90 days notice, they will take away the 3 free months and then charge you for 2 more months.

I had a free trial at this gym, and it turned out to be better than any other gym I had gone to. The staff are friendly and they have kid classes, the one I saw looked like an obstacle course. When I first arrived at the gym I saw a medium amount of people, which I expected because almost every gym I go to has a high amount of people. Overall a great experience, recommend going here.

Recently came back to Urge after a few years somewhere else. Great place to work out and do stretch therapy. Coach Will has helped regain mobility I’ve lost over years of training incorrectly. Chuck is also a huge help. All in all great place to work out.
