Valley Forge National Historical Park reviews
9I'm lucky enough to live only 5 minutes away and get to enjoy Valley Forge Park at least weekly. Also happened to marry a former park Ranger so I was able to get an insiders tour of the many "out" buildings and got the inside scoop on their history and significance from my wife. Great National Historic Park where you can bike through history. Be sure that you get a bike rack so you can pedal through. It's the best way to tour the park.
State Park that became part of the National Park system in 1976. Excellent tour and presentation. Definitely take the guided tour. The Park is in presteen condition with some actual 250 year old original structures and very good reconstructions as well.
We did trolley tour and it was amazing. Great tour guide! Very informative and the grounds are beautiful.
Nice layout depicting our forefathers struggle for independence. Educational and interactive for all ages
This is a fun historical park with a very nice bus tour. Beautiful too, can bike or walk all around the park learning or just enjoying the view.
This park became a Federal Park in 1976 on the Bicentennial. Great museum and I suggest you take the Trolley Tour (has a fee but there is NO fee to enter the park) The amount of history here is a great lesson to ALL people. Go and learn about about the U. S. A.and touch the handrail that Washington and Hamilton touched!
Great place to learn local history about the winter of all winters 1777-1778 when Washington brought our Troops to train at Valley Forge!
Simply amazing to see these ground and to think about how important this area is to American history. #HistoryIsCool
