Love this spot! Well kept and pristine workout environment for all facets. Indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, and the nicest steam room/sauna I have yet to experience! Not to mention a good menu, full staffing, and wonderful service.

I was looking for a new gym/club since my LA Fitness still had not fully opened. I was really missing the sauna and pool. I called VWC and was told there facility was fully operational. I was VERY skeptical will all these terrible reviews and was hesitant to even go for a tour. Well I was VERY impressed both with the cleanliness of the entire facility and the friendly staff and customers. I was given a tour by Annalise and she was friendly and knowledgeable.the signup process was easy and they helped me set up auto pay and receive a discount for paying in full. The sauna was SPOTLESS. The pools (yes pools, they have three) indoor and one outdoor had crystal clear water and was quite inviting.the lap pool was 84 degrees and the therapy pool was in the 90's it was heaven. My plan was to join on a month to month bases until my less expensive La Fitness re-opens fully and then go back to LA but I was so impressed I joined for a six month trial and will probably renew to a full year plan once my six month plan expires. If you are considering VWC they offer a one day pass for a few bucks.give that a try and judge for yourself.

VWC is a beautiful facility.unfortunately the owner is very strange, constantly changes family hours and rules, and has terrible communication. Now in time of Covid we are scared to use facility (since we have a 2 year old with respiratory issues who is considered high risk) and even more so since all marketing appears to be based around the liquor license they got and opening up the outdoor pool to guests and happy hour parties.all in complete violation of social distancing rules. Way to turn your beautiful facility into a bar and party focus. You’re going to lose our family as members and I know many others also plan to leave. We joined as a family prior to the club even being finished with construction.and you’re going to be losing lots of good family annual paid in full memberships and replace them with guests at your pool bar. The math isn’t going to be in your favor. Very sad.

First the good: The facility is beautiful, nice and clean I was very excited to know that a place like this was right near were we just bought our new house. Now the bad: Please train your stuff to be more friendly and helpful specially when new customers walk in. We stopped for a day pass and felt more like going into a federal building filling up a document with all our information with email, address, date of birth. Holding our photo ID just to play some basketball was a little bit ridiculous. I can see if we were buying a membership. The pass was a little expensive 60 dollars for three people but we didn't care. To make things worse no cash facility.we couldn't buy a bottle of water. I run my own business and I put my customers first all day long, I would never put an untrained person to take care of my customers or make anything difficult for them specially if they are bringing me business. I can see a good future of this facility if the right steps are taken.

I switched here from a chain gym and I am very happy with the switch. I love using the sauna and steam rooms after a workout that are located in each locker room. The equipment also has built in screens that you can stream netflix on and other services. The whole gym is immaculate and so clean. Though you pay a little more here than with the chain gyms, the price is 1000% worth what you get!

Very nice facility. It is worth the monthly dues if you use it for more then just a quick workout. Everything is always clean. Most staff members are nice. Luther is the facility cleaner and is a 5 star guy. Ive forgotten some things behind a few times and instead of being thrown away or stolen, they were put at the front desk. It is cashless so you would need to use a card or your account but who wants cash and change on them at the gym anyway. Cafe has some good energy drink choices and is very convenient.

Clean gym but way too expensive $98 a month isn’t worth it. Doesn’t feel like a gym, a manager who has a constant loop of his video that nobody cares about instead of sports. Sign up fees is outrageous & not worth it!

A great community, members and employees alike! Coming from other fitness centers in the Valley VWC is unlike any other I’ve been a part of.

If you like an overpriced gym, with high employee turnover due to an owner who 1.listens to ZERO member feedback (i.e. Plays constant loop of HIS ads on the tv in weight-room rather than news, sports, weather) 2. Won’t acknowledge the “average member” even with eye contact lest say hello, well then you will like it here. Of The staff that has stayed, 2/3 retain the poor attitude that comes from the top. It’s a shame because the set-up has tons of potential but is ruined by stubborn, pretentious actions. Clock is ticking on this place.

We love to work out here and relaxing in the hot tub is like being at a spa. The salon is great and I’ve had my hair done and massages there. The place is clean and the people are so nice. The long term staff are always friendly and the food at the cafe is always great! I think the price is reasonable for my husband and I to have a quality gym and all of the amenities we love! Dr. S.is an involved owner and that is unique in this business for sure! I had fun volunteering for the triathlon the first time is was held. I’d love to see more volunteer programs to bring younger people to the center and since you’re looking for suggestions! - I liked the 20% discount for members at the spa better than special offers. I’d love to see hot yoga come to the center. I would also like to see more Zumba dance type classes! My only other disappointment was that our personal trainers kept leaving the facility and we haven’t had the ability or time to use all of our package and hope you’ll extend the time for us to be able to use them! All in all we love it here!

Amazing place!
Huge, 2-story gym with all of the equipment you can imagine including, Indoor pool, outdoor pool, golf, basketball, bicycle room, rock climbing wall, and way more!
The Valley Welness Center also has a peaceful salon/spa for massages, manicures, pedicures, and haircuts/hair styles. If you decide not to come here, you're making a regretable mistake. Five stars!

PLEASE READ BEFORE JOINING GYM - FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
(REVIEW BY KELSEY CICCHETTI & DEVON HARRIS)
Last month, my boyfriend and I decided to checkout this gym. After the tour, we sat down with a sales women who informed us that the gym was having their 1 year anniversary promotion sometime soon (most likely that next week). However, she could not inform us of what the promotion was since she wouldn't know until the day the promotion started. So, she suggested that if we sign up with a 3 or 7 day trial, that this money would go towards their enrollment fee ($200). So, in order to start using this gym and also get the promotion price, I purchased two 7 day trial guest passes for us ($79). We signed up under the impression (which is also written on their website & guest information sheet that was handed to us), that this money would go towards our enrollment fee as long as we purchased a membership 3 days after our trial expires.

The next day, we go into the gym and sign in, I was told by the front desk that they could not find my 7 day trial pass that I purchased. After the suggestion of my boyfriend, he informed her to look under his account. Both guest passes were showing under his account. Before we left to workout, we were told that this issue was fixed. When we returned to the gym the next day, the same issue happened again.

Now, fast forward to the next week.
The promotion was now available, and we were 5/7 days into our trial and were were ready to purchase a year membership. We spoke with a salesman who informed us that we were unable to use our money that we spent for our trial passes since the promotion doesn't have the enrollment fee anymore. We only purchased the trial passes because we were told that this money would go towards the enrollment fee by a sales person at VWC. This is also clearly stated in their guest information sheet. If you look at the images I posted, no where does it state that exceptions apply. He said that he would talk to a manger upon our request and to check back with him the next day.

That next day.
We go into the gym and sat down with the same salesman. He informed us that the manager said that there was nothing they could do. He also stated that $80 isn't a lot of money and that we were saving $200 since there is no enrollment fee anymore. My boyfriend had to show the salesman the math to prove that we would only be saving a couple bucks from the promotion since they wont honor what was sold to us. We spoke with the manager, who barely acknowledged our existence and assured us that she would speak to the owner upon our request. Also, just to note, they never asked if we would want to speak in their office. We had to hash this out in public space (sales office where there is constant public foot traffic).

24 hours later.
We go into the gym again and spoke to the same salesman inquiring about the conversation between the manager and the owner. Upon checking both of our accounts, there was no notes under either of our accounts. We were expecting notes in our accounts if the conversation actually occurred between the manager and the owner. This conveyed to us that we really didn't matter as customers. The salesman had to text the manger asking the results from the conversation, and she texted him back saying, again, there was nothing they could do. Again, was not offered to speak in their office.we had to hash this out in a public space.

I never knew what people meant about the attitude at Valley Wellness until I interacted with Ashley. Definitely in need of deep customer service skills or keep her away from people.

Great place. Having kids activities and a pool allows me to get to the gym more often. Pricey but really nice. I read a few reviews, no one is snotty.at least to me. I do with they had towels. Otherwise clean and beautiful. A+

Very disappointed in how they have treated my autistic son and wife for bringing him there for a 1 hr junior member swim session with her. For their well above average prices, you would expect better treatment.

I love this place! Everything I could possibly want is here. I find the staff quite friendly. I go at least 4 times a week and the hot tub and steam room have only been out of order once. I think it is impossible to please some people.

Don’t sign up for a membership at this facility. It’s pretty, and huge. However the way they do business is questionable. First, they cancel classes when less than 4 people are registered 2 hours before the class so it’s impossible to plan ahead, and the instructors never know when they are working/getting paid til 2 hours before. Every week multiple classes I am signed up for are cancelled last minute. Because of this they have a high turn over in instructors and the ones who are there are stressed and upset. In Addition, if YOU miss 3 classes you have to pay an extra $15 on top of your membership. So they can take your money every month and cancel classes, but you have to pay extra if you cancel. The sales people also lie and tell you you can cancel your membership anytime, but you can’t. In my opinion there can’t be success where the client and the employees are treated with an equal lack of regard and respect. I have never in my life written a negative review ever. It’s not something I do. In this case I felt I had to, to save other people from being undervalued and disappointed. Valley Wellness Center does not live up to their end of the bargain. Stay away!

In response to Dr. Smort: "Included free in your membership" is a hilarious way to put it considering how steep the membership fee is. It is also hilarious considering how often classes are cancelled. Do you realize it is a running joke with both instructors and clients? Also hilarious that the classes I paid $400 extra for never happened because yet another instructor quit and getting a refund has been difficult. It is very clear that you don't care about your clientele or the people who depend on your gym to make a living. I highly recommend changing the way you treat people. Everyone there is angry and talks negatively about their experience. The only reason they stay is because of the unethical contract and the impossible cancellation policy. Change your ways. People work too hard in life to be bamboozled by you when they are trying to improve their quality of life. I doubt sincerely that it was your intention to make people feel robbed, screwed, or tricked. Please take a deep dive into the true perception people have of your facility. It is not crowded for a reason.

The facility is absolutely amazing and the equipment is top notch however for the cost of this health club you would imagine customer service to be a priority.

When you walk in many of the front desk people seem inconvenienced by the task of scanning your membership card and you are rarely ever greeted with enthusiasm.

I attempted to leave the gym because I started attending school and wanted to focus more of my time and money on that. The manager I spoke with just came off as rude and argumentative. If you are not 100% sure you want to stay for the length of the contract I would highly advise you to look somewhere else as many options exist that don’t require legally binding contracts. (This appears to have been other complaints by members.)

There are way to many add on classes and services that cost additional money as well. The included amenities are still a nice touch.

I would suggest a customer service training program to teach the fundamentals of customer service to align with the cost of the membership.

Overall if you’re looking for a luxurious place to exercise and can look past the customer service and burden of a STRICT contract I would recommend.

I work out between 5-9 pm in the last week or so I noticed the guy you had doing the cleaning is no longer there and the locker rooms are very messy. I know you clean the place but no one there between 5-9 pm? Can't remember his name but the guy was always keeping it clean for us.

I was thinking about joining this facility because it’s so beautiful but beauty is only skin deep. The people working here are snobby and downright rude. Things like the sauna and hot tub are out of service for periods of time. Why pay premium prices for below average service? No thank you
