VCA Willow Mill Animal Hospital, Mechanicsburg PA

I really like the male Doctor that has seen my dog several times. And most of the techs and front desks have been decent as well. However, from past experiences and a recent experience with two different extremely rude and cold front desk women, I can't say I wanna go back. The first one, was very cocky and would always insist she knew "what the vet was going to say" even when I specifically requested that I rather have advice from him. Like I said also just rude and condescending in general. The one most recently, I was trying to schedule my cat to see the vet for something ASAP as he is older and was having problems going to the bathroom, and was told curtly a short "no" when I asked about days for soonest appointment. This place would honestly be five stars if not for the troublesome receptionists I have encountered.

The people are truly outstanding that work there. I will be using this facility for all future vet needs for both of my cats.

Our go to place for our fur babies. Their vet rates are pricey, but we subscribe in their care club plan which provides free visits/annual check-ups/vaccinations. All of the vets/nurses/staff are amazing to our current pets and were very comforting when one of our dogs unfortunately passed. They are absolutely the best/most caring vet we've used in the area.

Unfortunately we will not go back to Willow Mill. They have cared for all of our pets since 1994 but the practice is no longer a friendly, personable experience for the pet owner or the pet. If you are a vet, you should at least act like you enjoy working with families and their pets. Tech took my cat to the back in the carrier. Who knows how she was treated. I had never seen this vet before so didn't even know her and she had never met my cat. She never introduced herself. She really had no interest in establishing any type of rapport with me so I can only imagine how she related to my young cat. Why not go back to social distancing.pick up my pet in the parking lot and send me the report in the portal. Skip the entire interpersonal aspect of a "visit". Very cold, impersonal experience. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend Willow Mill.

Everyone is very professional and very nice. Dr Dombroski and Maddy are exceptional. Very patient and explains everything. Great facility!

They stayed overtime to help me get more help for my diabetic and now found to have cancer cat, finding me a place in Lancaster for an oncology conseltation and helping get the appointment I need.

My cat Luna came to this hospital with a terminal infection, from the moment you open the door to the moment you leave this hospital is full of compassionate humans great staff and excellent doctors, thank you so much for taking great care of me and Luna in our times of difficulty.

Really nice staff and they take good care of the animals but it is very expensive. More expensive then other places in the area.

Dr Munkittrick is the best! The staff is caring.
Shelby, the vet tech administering our dog's laser therapy, is calming & caring.

Over all experience is not bad. I do like the vet and vet tech that I have met. They have taken great care of my dog. The front end staff not as great. If they were a little more friendly and helpful the overall experience would be great.

The staff and vet were so gracious and compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our dog. It was such a hard thing to do and everyone was so kind and I cannot thank them enough. Amazing end of life care.

I am a professional dog trainer and I was searching for a vet to do an OFA/Penn Hipp grading on my Workingline German Shepherd dog hips and elbows. After serval failed attempts at seeking information at other vet offices I was referred to Willow Mill Animal Hospital through a client who had done the same tests for her service dog. I can not say enough good things about this vet office. They are quick to respond, give a wealth of information, answer all your questions and concerns, and everyone I spoke with was very pleasant and friendly. My dog is extremely high drive and trained in protection so I had worries even as a professional how they would handle a dog of his caliber. All of my concerns were eased and my questions were answered promptly. Where other vets offices never even called me back after only inquiring about information. I drove 2.5 hours from New Jersey and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My dog was handled with care and they respected his temperament fully. The office is clean and quiet. Can’t say enough positive things about this vet office! Thank you guys again for your professionalism and hard work.

If you use VCA Willow Mill Animal Hospital be sure that you schedule your pets ailments and sickness as they will not be able to accommodate your sick pet until there is a schedule opening, in our case 3 weeks out. They offered no help or advice except to take our sick pet to an animal hospital. Umm? Doesn’t their name says they are a hospital?

Great first trip with our English bulldog. The vet was awesome.super personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The staff was just as amazing as well. Super sweet people who love animals! Prices were more than fair as well.

I am so grateful to ALL of the staff here for being so patient with me and taking such amazing care of my pups. The vets give you all of the information needed in an easy to understand way, the nurses also answer ALL of your questions and provide recommendations as well as reassure you that you can call anytime, with any question. Willow Mill just has amazing people and I highly recommend bringing your animals here.

Dr. Dombroski was fantastic. The level of detail she used to communicate the results of the exam were truly reflective of her thoroughness and care. She took her time to ask me questions and to work towards a way forward with my dog, Doris. The facility overall was also incredibly professional and organized despite the pandemic environment. Each staff member I spoke with was prepared, understanding, and compassionate. As a first time visitor here, I'm more than happy with my experience. Thank you all so much!
