Vecchia Sicilia Pizza Shop, Columbia PA

This is my favorite pizza shop in South Central PA. It reminds me of pizza from NEPA. The sauce is great! They make their own bread with the sandwiches. It's a great family run restaurant that I have enjoyed takeout and dining in.

Moved to Columbia recently and have tried many pizza shops. My family loves their pizza, subs and boli.

First time ordering. Ordered the lg thick square pizza, crust light & airy not like regular heavy pizza dough. Sauce not over powering. Lg Special Calzone delish. Everyone enjoyed their dinner & asked for the directions to Vecchia Sicila Pizza Shop! (LOL, no senior discount) #21

I order from here a lot but the last few times I have been very disappointed. Taking longer for delivery, food missing and looks like store bought bread for the subs. The food here and service used to be great not sure what what happened orders again tonight trying to give chance to redeem themselves and sadly was disappointed.

I'm not sure what happened to this place it used to be amazing but has gone down hill we won't be going back

Use to come here a lot when I lived in the area. Now I stop in when I am working in the area, I have noticed that the slices have been getting smaller lately and today I ordered 2 slices to go not only were they small but they looked and tasted like they were leftover from yesterday.
Don't think I'll be stopping back in anytime soon.

They make some of the greatest tasting pizza. A GREAT Mom & Pop operation! They definitely beat the big chain pizza operation for taste!

Great customer service. When they messed up a delivery once, they fixed it as soon as possible- with no problem. Yummy pizza and fried food.

Awesome workers and I feel like I Must say best cheese steak around and the french fries too. The bread was nice and soft and the sauce with the sandwich was great I can't wait to eat there again

Ordered with no issues before today. Called top tell them to pick up their hairy food and please refund my money for those items. There was a hair in my daughter's cheesesteak, the battered fries were soft and soggy, not crispy at all, but was told that I was given battered fries. The corn nuggets came with a nice surprise, too. Another hair. The woman on the phone was a rude, she said I was the only one who complained of soggy fries and I said we don't eat soggy fries that's why we ordered battered. She told me if I wanted a refund that I have to give the food back, I told her I already asked if someone could pick it up so I could have my refund, I don't want hairy food. Rude lady puts thet phone down to complain about me to her boss, then puts me on hold. A man gets on the phone and I tell him the same thing. He apologizes and said he will be refunding my money for the three items. I ask when someone is coming to get the food, and here said to throw it away. So I am adding a picture of those things in my trash. We don't eat hairy food.

Got a couple of slices of pizza when I got home I noticed the pizza was old from the day before because the crust was hard and the cheese was burnt. They keep left over pizza from the day before and sell it the next day.

Was greeted pleasantly and quickly and the ambiance was nice. The people working behind the counter were genuine and clearly liked working with each other. I ordered a slice of Pepperoni, a slice of Plain and a soda - for $5.25, which I think is a good value for a full meal. The plain slice was a little smaller than I expected, but the sauce was tasty, there was plenty of cheese and the crust was well done, with just enough char to make it crispy without overwhelming and giving that burnt taste. I could give the slice a good fold without the tip collapsing or the middle toppings breaking through. Just the right thickness on the crust. The pepperoni slice was a good size (larger than the plain) and the pepperoni used had a nice spice to it but not too much. It let me enjoy both the pepperoni and the slice under it. I looked at the other choices (buffalo Chicken, Meat Lovers, Olive and tomato, and they all looked good. Nice food served by nice people in a quiet little strip mall - worth the stop.

I ordered the mixed basket and the cheesesteak stromboli and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you for the great food.

Foods great people are great wished they'd make a fried boli with French fries hamburger bacon and cheese in it tho

After waiting an hour and 30 minutes for one pizza it finally came and was completely cold. We had to put it back in our own oven before eating. When we tried to contact them about the pizza we were ignored. Definitely won't be ordering again.

Never had a bad experience. Food is always delicious, hot, and cared for when delivered. Would recommend

Gave us the wrong box of food and my grilled chicken sub was Actually deep fried chicken did not finish the sub tasted bad

Pizza was actually okay (I have high expectations). Crust was hard as a rock but taste of sauce was good and ingredients tasted fresh. For all the people that complain about them not wearing masks, you try working 12 hours a day cooking with a mask on. Most of you people are sitting at home collecting government money and going to family owned businesses and acting like the covid police. Please just stay at home and cook your own food! No, then your poor kids would starve. Collect your free money and shut up!

I would give this place a zero stars if it was an option. The only reason to eat here is if you are hoping to get covid. We went to get takeout pizza and the kitchen was crowded with workers and also several kids running in and out of the kitchen and dining area- and nobody was wearing masks. They have a plexiglass shield up at checkout to I guess protect themselves, but they obviously could care less about protecting their customers. I told the woman at checkout that the lack of masks made me nervous and asked if the cooks wear masks while preparing the food, and she said “no, we don’t” and also that nobody ever asked or cared before me. I fully support small business and want them to be open, but restaurants should do it safely and follow the guidelines. And if they are not going to, please make that known on your website and front door and you are choosing to disregard the safety of you customers. I deserve to know that before I give you my business and walk into your restaurant. If you are still
Open after the pandemic, you are part of a community who has chosen to support your business- the least you could do is care enough about your customers to wear a mask. But, since you choose not to, I just want to pass along to all people who are choosing to be safe and follow guidelines for mask wearing- DO NOT eat here; it is not a sanitary kitchen. They don’t deserve your business, plus their food is super bland and pizza is undercooked.
