8We went to a gun raffle. I didn't win a gun but we had all the wings you could eat with the ticket for admission.
The Venango County Fair was a lot of fun! I love seeing all the animals and getting to pet them and they are all so well taken care of. The barns have had some major work done and everything looks so nice, they did an excellent job! It was $7.00 for each person, under 9 years old is free. The playground is very nice and clean. Lots of different foods, crafts and some little things for the kids. It was a really fun outing and I'm super glad we went.
Who's idea was it to put the bleachers in the pit area so close to the action that if a demo car hit the barrier sideways and flipped over that barrier people could plausibly die. Also to allow people to stand so close to the end of the track where cars can possibly push those barriers back a good 20 feet. Alot is safety issues I saw there this year. I was blinded all the way across the track by flash from the cameras I'm assuming were reporters, that means drivers were also blinded which could make the difference in hitting a drivers door and injuring him or not. And I believe a better effort to keep the track clear of debris could be made I saw parts laying for too long before they stopped the demo. Very dangerous. I do hope to see changes before someone gets hurt. Other than my safety issues the drivers put on great show.
Went to Country Grubb for all you can eat wings. If you get there at dinner time you have to be patient because the wings are disappearing as fast as they can make them. Very good. Lots of flavors.
Nice community fair! That truly gives back to the kids of the 4- h programs! And thinks of it's community!
Did trunk or treat at 4h. Was great lots of people lots of candy. Everyone was fairly nice. Good experience
My granddaughter is a member and I like the things that they do for the kids raising the animals is a great thing I like the tractor pulls the mud bogs demolition derby they got it all going on at the 4-H fairgrounds
