Vernon Express Care reviews
16I told them clearly my pharmacy was Millrun and they sent the prescription to CVS. They need training in listening.
As a medical person, I recently encountered challenges while attempting to obtain medical records for one of my patients through ROI submission. Our office received multiple calls from Vernon Express Care's fax number, all consisting of unintelligible beeping sounds. The repeated calls became a source of frustration for our team.
To resolve the issue, I contacted Vernon Express Care directly. The female who answered the phone said, "We don't send any medical records here. " Despite my polite inquiry about the possibility of an accidental use of our phone number, she maintained her position, responding curtly, "We never fax medical records here. " Surprisingly, she refused when I requested her name, stating, "I do not provide my name. Sorry! " before hanging up.
The following day, I made another attempt by calling the same number. This time, a man promptly and efficiently sent the required medical records within five minutes.
Vernon Express Care's handling of this situation raises concerns about the quality of care and communication they provide. One must wonder if such encounters contribute to better patient care or inadvertently exacerbate existing problems.
Yet, during previous encounters, I have consistently received excellent care from the physicians or PAs at Vernon Express Care.
I would recommend taking the bit of a longer wait and going to med express. Especially if you have children, we’ve had so many horrible experiences here, I keep giving them another shot because they have new doctors in and out, yesterday the female doctor yelled at my 5 year old son to “stop it” because he was slouching while she was listening to lungs from his back. This place is absolutely a chop shop.
They deserve to be shut down, they do not disinfect after patients leave, they misdiagnosed my son because she didn't want to swab him. Returned to be seen again and she didn't want to see him because she had already seen him too many times in the past and there was nothing more she could do for him. Amber Crawford is one of the rudest PAs I have ever had to encounter.
Clean facility with friendly staff and appropriate care. We utilize this urgent care for all of our family quick health care needs. Never been denied care or a necessary test. Sometimes there are patients angry about the most ridiculous things who make a scene in the waiting room. That’s the only thing not positive i have seen but they can’t control patients who have that kind of immaturity happening.
Remember the angry patients are the most likely to be loud on reviews and make up things to make a facility look bad. The happy ones are rarely leaving a review.
Useless couldn't even look at a 2 yr old for a busted lip made us go to the er where he could get sick from all the people in the waiting room.
And people wonder why the er is so congested because med Express won't see the simplest things
Didn’t know what I had, then it got worse and worse and I heard nothing back. Going to a different urgent care
I was turned away for something I had been treated before. When I explained I had been there before and catching this now would prevent nasal infection and anti-biotics, I was accused of arguing. "We can argue all day, but you are not seeing anyone. " Only one person in the waiting area. An easy, quick, self-pay $85 rejected. As Seinfeld would say, "It doesn't make any sense. "
My son was seen by a Dr who ran no tests and diagnosed him with an ear infection, gave him an antibiotic he didn't need, and sent him home.
He has COVID and since we didn't know and didn't confine him to his room, now we all have COVID.
Thanks so much for not doing your job properly. Wonder why antibiotics are over prescribed?
The answer isn't because patients expect them.
Maybe use science next time.
Maybe no one in your life is immunocompromised and you wouldn't need to know, but we've got several.
Do better
This place is terrible! The few times I've been there just this year I have been treated terribly and they've treated my son terribly. They're extremely rude. Last time I went they turned away a US Veteran because they didn't want to do the extra paperwork for his insurance. Then proceeded to make fun of him after he left. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!
To start, the young woman at the front desk is just awful. Rude, ignorant towards patients, and a complete moron. Also, for whatever reason they not longer accept insurance there even though they are funded through the hospital. This did not make sense to me. So they charged me 75 bucks for a wellness exam that the nurse practitioner didn’t even do. She just signed the paperwork I needed for college and sent me on my way. I felt rushed, and not attended to by the staff at all. I literally paid $75 for a signature. If you ever think about going there, I recommend you don’t and honestly find another doctors office with a staff team that is actually competent and willing to help.
Nurses and drs are very rude all I was trying to do was get a note so I could go back to work. Since I’m new to the area and don’t have a primary doctor yet. Don’t go here unless you absolutely have to (even then don’t go to this place)
I have gone multiple times and the wait is always very short and staff is kind. I have tried going to the other urgent care in Meadville and have had over an hour wait. They have helped me out every time I've gone.
Amber Crawford was amazing. Her and all the staff were terrific. As a nurse I am opinionated and I give them 5 stars. Thank you for your care
This place was terrible. I walked in for a case of pink eye, and they told me that my school nurse could not make, and I’m Sumption on whether or not I had pink eye. I asked to see the doctor again to look at my eye parentheses for fogginess parentheses and they said no. If it turns off pink out, you can go see your family doctor. Have a and they said no. If it turns to be pink out, you can go see your family doctor. Have a nice day there’s the exit door.
Don't even want to give them a star they should have negative stars for this place went in there because I fell and and I could not walk on my one foot and just because I said my back hurts a little they told me you have to go to the ER I said I'm here for my foot not my back I just told you my back hurts a little the side said he will go talk to the provider to see if he will see you but instead they had me sit there until they called the security to escort me out they never went back to talk to the provider they lied then the security had me hop all the way to my car instead of wheeling me out very rude ppl that works here lied to me just to embarrass me for no reason I will never never go here again this place is very bad business
