7Excellent experience at an engagement party tonight in their outdoor Pavillion.
Im an active duty vet and this is located in my hometown area that I claim. I visit every few years and the VFW has always made me feel welcomed when I just wanted to be around other soldiers like me or if I'm not comfortable in others bars (PTSD issues). I first came here as a PVT and then a SPC now a SSG and I have always felt welcomed. Hopefully I'll have the chance to drink here again one day. It's got a nice secluded location aong a main road and totally worth the visit.
Great place, respectful people! Super nice bar tenders, gambling, pool tables, music, lots of events, great ways to volunteer for the military supporters and honestly one of my favorite places to go, and I don't even drink to be honest. But everyone that does, loves the VFW too
It was a great experience the VFW was very clean and the guests were very friendly I am from Post 8225
Crazy how your treated by your fellow soldiers if you didn't go over seas. We all fought the same war, some of us were kept back to make sure other's made it home. Just food for thought.
Great place to visit especially on Wednesdays when it's wing night. Wings are great.
Great place to host a party. The venue is very spacious and very clean. Highly recommended it.
