Victory Stables, Apollo PA

My mother bought me lessons here when I was in middle school. I loved horses so much I offered to muck stalls for free lessons. My first day at victory stables the lady (I can’t remember her name but she had red hair) had me go to saddle and bridle my horse for the day. I went to do so and the horse freaked out. She was like “Oh I forgot he was abused and hates to be saddled” She saddled the horse for me and we went out on a trail ride. The saddle was loose and when the horses started to canter my saddle slipped and I fell off and hit my eye on a rock. I ended up with a concussion. They told me I was too big and it was my fault even though I had been riding for years and that never happened. I was a little chubby as a teen but not overweight. I went back one more time and I had made friends with another girl who had her horse boarded there. This blonde lady came over and laid into me that I had no business helping anyone with anything. She was yelling at me and was so nasty and cruel. An older girl from my high school was there with her mother and her mom jumped in and told her to stop and that was enough. I was 12 maybe 13. I never like to say this but I feel like her issue with me was that I was biracial. I was a kid and she was a horrible monster, everyone was. 100/10 don’t recommend. These people are not nice people. I wouldn’t trust them with a cockroach.

This place is horrible! Never go here. I went for 5 years of lessons and I fully regret it. They thought me in a really bad way. They are very rude and most of the horses are sick! The so called “church” is just a cult. My friend bought a horse frame here and it ended up having strangles. She died when she was only 6 due to strangles. This is the worst barn I have ever seen. Ask any neighboring barn that isn’t run by 10 year olds.

Enjoyed our time at Victory Stables. My daughter and her friend did a modified "fun on the ranch experience". Tricia was awesome. We will definitely be back for more lessons.

THEY HAVE STRANGLES HERE! DO NOT BOARD YOUR HORSE HERE PLEASE. THEY DONT ALLOW VETS. These people believe "god" will save your sick horse. Just to add, I know multiple people who have been swindled out of horses they paid for by these owners. My advice: Do not ride here, do not do business with the owners, and DO NOT ever try to board your horse here, you can thank me later. There are plenty other barns out there that aren’t this terrible. Ask any local established person in the horse/showing world Victory Stables is bad news. Local fairgrounds will literally cancel their shows if they hear this barn is attending, because they are known to have sick horses and care little about making other riders horses sick.

That place is great that is we’re I learned how to gallop and those people there are so nice I love it there but mila went to collage that’s ok that was just trainer for a very long time

They treat you like family great place. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a day on the ranch

We booked a birthday party for my daughters here and communicated with the owners prior to the event so that everything could be ready. We arrived to find trash and junk everywhere and nothing was prepared for. My family had to spend a lot of time trying to move rusty, broken items out of the way so we could even have space for the event we paid for, all while the employee sat by and watched without offering help to remove their trash. The grass was not cut, which made it unsafe for older guests to maneuver, dog poop littered the pavilion area, and the pavilion was surrounded by discarded appliances. Although the kids had fun during the riding portion, the facilities were an absolute embarrassment. I am disappointed that this place wasn’t run in a more professional way - we wouldn’t have hesitated to bring our girls back for lessons, but it’s a shame how it is run and maintained. Safety is definitely not a top priority with all of the rust and broken debris around.

The people and the horses are amazing! Very knowledgeable and willing to teach! The ride was amazing, safe but exciting!

I'm taking my grandkids for lesson's we all love the people there. The animal's are well cared for and loved! Can't recommened them enough!

Not sure where to even start with this horrid place. I have witnessed the true narcissistic owner telling any lies possible to make a sale. I purchased 7 horses from her and was promised papers that I'm still waiting for 4 years later! I purchased so many because most were neglected and I felt that I was saving them. She doesn't care about the well-being of the horses or people. Her only care is to fill her pocketbook with your money. None of her adult children have real jobs. They work at the stable and also collect welfare benefits 100%. The church is not a church but a cult that is only used so the owner doesn't have to pay taxes. The people claiming this a wonderful place have never been to a legit stable that isn't run by 13 years olds.

I brought my Grandkids from west Virginia to enjoy the horses and have some fun.and they did! They were very nice!

Please at all costs stay away from this place. I have a friend who's horse is very sick with strangles. She brought in her own vet to confirm this due to the owner calling it a infection or cold which is completely false. She is in the process of removing her horse but unfortunately she hasn't paid in full and the owner is lying about the amount that has already been paid in cash towards owning her horse. She refused to give her the sales contract she supposedly has. These so called Christians are the farthest thing from God I have ever seen. Lies, lies, and more lies!

My daughter and I are in the "work to ride" program at Victory. We've been there for almost a year. Never have we seen a horse or any other animal being mistreated. The stalls are cleaned daily and fresh water is given throughout the day. Everyone is like a family at Victory. We have made so many friends and absolutely look forward to being there as much as we can. If a horse is sick, they are cared for immediately. I can't believe the people leaving bad reviews, because I am at this barn regularly and the love for the horses is evident by the high level of care they receive. I am appalled at the lies. Sandy and the Victory family have been God's gift to me and my daughter. I love them all. ️️

Unsafe for horses, inexperienced horsemen and women, and anyone who tries to 'make a deal' with the owner. Unfortunately exploitive. Look elsewhere if you want to learn/experience proper riding and horse care

I do not recommend this place to anyone. The property is covered in trash from one corner to the other. I don’t know how every horse there doesn’t have a nail in their foot with the overwhelming amount of junk that literally covers the place.

Enjoyable place with family friendly trainers and staff. Just about everybody knows everybody and even if don't more than enough people who are willing to help with whatever you need.

It was a wonderful ride me and my wife got to go on for our 14th wedding anniversary highly recommended.

This place is so beautiful! Owner and all the workers are very nice and helpful. Not only do they take care of you they are so kind to their animals, they are all like a family there (most of them are) Our daughter had her birthday party there and the kids had a blast. Thank you so much, we will be back
