I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to intern at Viking Plastics and it was a great experience. They have a very supportive and positive environment throughout all levels of the business, and they made sure that I learned as much as I could during my time working there. The skills I was taught have helped me tremendously as I have started my career.

I interned at Viking Plastics for 2 summers and it was an amazing experience. I worked close with the program launch team and the sales department, and they were great mentors. Overall, VP has an amazing team of dedicated and hardworking people who truly care about providing customers with world class products every day. I was blown away when I saw how important Viking Plastics valued Lean. Lean is the concept of eliminating waste as much as possible to focus on what really matters. Everyone in the company shares the same vision of minimalizing waste and producing high quality products. I am extremely grateful for the time that I was able to intern at this company! I couldn't be more pleased with the lessons I learned and the people I met.

I have been working here for 6 years. I have work in manufacturing for over a decade and I will tell you this place is a great place to work. Are you going to get rich working here? Probably not. But, has been my favorite place to work. Everyone is really encouraged to think like owners. Employees are brought into the circle, so to speak. Every shift starts out with a "drumbeat" meeting where we go over the days financials, tight orders, talk about what we are thankful for, as well as news pertaining to our community. If you are new to the area and need a job this is a great place to work. I don't plan on leaving.
