Village Farmer and Bakery reviews
19I love this place hadn’t been in years since I moved. Stopped in today exactly the same which is a GOOD thing. The pies and preserves are DELICIOUS
Hot dog gray. Apple pie cold. Raw crust. Was so excited to try this cute little place, but only sadness now.
Super delicious pies.
We were just down there, I picked up a Blueberry pie & a Pumpkin pie.
Both were Amazing!

Also the FV breakfast sandwich was fabulous.

Pies are to die for, so full of fruit worth every penny. POT PIES as well very flavorful and full of meat and veg.
Okay priced jalapeño pepper plants for garden. I think they were 3.95 each. Also bought 1 medium sized jar of honey for 12 and change. Looked at the baked goods. Didn't care too much for how they were displayed and were a tad expensive. But with the cost of eggs and such. Depends on how much you as an individual would spend on one baked item.
Worst experience ever. Never got greeted or asked for any type of assistance, guess they only cater to certain clients, thought all clients were "Green", well I know now I won't ever go there again. Guess being disabled is to be unseen for certain establishments.
Very good bakery with other hot food items and canned jams and foods. They have specials, pricing is very good and they specialize in pies. Since finding it I go there everytime I am in the area. Cool thing is it is just off the AT in the Borough of Delaware Water Gap right before or after you cross the NJ/PA border. They have a nice lunch special for under $5.
Cute store, but hotdogs weren't cooked and the apple pie was cold and under baked to the point that the crust was raw. Definite tourist trap. Please be careful.
What happened to this place? Use to be so fantastic. Stopped on a Tuesday. No one even asked us anything. They really weren’t working just talking amongst themselves. Show case was empty. Just a few old things that look like there were there for a week, maybe more. 5.50 for a strawberry puff that the juice was a puddle. I know from experience this happens after it sits awhile. I really wanted a peach one however didn’t get it. They didn’t even have it. What a shame. Would not buy anything. It looked to old. We were the only car in the lot. Maybe they are busier in the summer and fall.
I enjoy all the great food to be had in this place. The cashiers are very friendly, but their prices have escalated to the point of becoming a only on special occasion place versus pick up something delicious every weekend spot.
Pros
Clean
Priced reasonably
Very nice staff
Free samples!
Great pie
Great strawberry cloud
Great cheese Danish
One of if not the best peanut butter cookie I've had
Cons
None
Great overall I have seen slightly cheaper prices elsewhere, but you can't tell these are made very well. A great product look forward to trying again.
I do think that they are a bit overpriced for their food. (except if you do the hotdog and pie deal - reasonable). But I believe they have a lobster roll for around $20.00 and I think that is a bit much for this area and the food they are serving but overall I didn't think there food was taste bad.
Stopped in to pick up a fresh Apple Pie to bring with us for Easter Dinner at a friend's.
They also had pastries, candies, pot pies & a numerous assortment of fresh baked pies. Apple, blueberry, cherry, mixed berry, peach and the list goes on.
We were so happy that we stopped. Pies were pricey at $19.99 but we've had them before and they are overfill and delicious.
We come every holiday and usually order our pies in advance.
We tried the chicken pie and the Blueberry pie. Totally recommended
(Especially the Blueberry pie; is a MUST-TRY)
Also, the place has many goodies like honey, peanut butter and many more-everything homemade
Also, good coffee
The cutest market! Fresh everything, pies, cakes, cookies, candy, plus fudge, danishes, jams, jellies, coffee, honey.the list goes on! Omg, get yourself a stuffed cookie! You just need to go! Coffee, tea, drinks, and ice cream are also available. Be sure to ask for Nate, he'll take good care of you.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The outside is a hot mess. However, inside is fabulous! Delicious baked goods and very friendly staff. I only wish they offered some gluten-free items.
A total disappointment! First the pies are wrapped in plastic on a table and over priced at $19.99, not fresh made. Pastry’s looked old too, a little on the dirty side too. Won’t be back can not recommend.
Whenever I go to the Delaware Water Gap, a visit to this place is a must.
The staff is sooo friendly.
The food they sell is fantastic.
The pastries and pies are amazing.
Everything you could imagine yo buy - jelly, pies. Donuts, coffee, pop corn, delicious food.
