Vin's Beauty Salon reviews
16Went up in prices but still one of the best places to get a cut and not have to spend all day in the shop.
I really love my hair! This beauty shop was tremendous. I need to come back because it's a good one. From the beginning until the end of the service I am accommodated professionally. I gave my 100% trust in this beautiful shop. I am grateful that It turns amazing. Thank you so much to all of you! Job well done
Since the first time going to Vin's barber shop 13 years ago, whenever I go for haircut, I never have to tell him what cut I want.
He is very polite, greets everyone and also thanks them personally
I refuse to go to any other barbershop. Thank you Vin's barber shop
Best barber in the city. Been going to Vin since I was 10 years old. Almost 30 years now. 100% official!
Good price. Good haircut. This place been here since i were a kid. Same owner too. You won't be disappointed.
Been going here for 13 years. I'm from round here so all that be going on the streets if u mind ya business they won't test u
Good cheap haircut. The shop itself is nothing special. Plenty of chairs and barbers, most don't speak English. The area is a little rough. Cant walk across the street without ten people begging you for something. I know that's not the shops fault lol
Vin's is usually busy but lacks in communication as they don't speak English or just don't speak it well which causes problems with the customers as they try and explain what they want which has caused many confrontations. They also don't have a system in place for whose next. You need to always pay attention to when you got there so another person doesn't cut you in line which can also cause problems. As far as the cuts go.you get what you pay for.
This is the only spot I go to regardless of how far it is from where I live. Usually a 25 minute walk to Vin's, but it's well worth it! The quality and pricing is bar-none. If anyone happens to have a problem at Vin's, they clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Every single barber in the shop is talented to say the least. I would recommend everyone and anyone to go here and at least try it once, you won't regret it! Cheers.
Been going to Vin's faithfully for over 15 years since I was a young teenager. He is truly 1 of the 1st original 3 Chinese Baber spots at K&A along with Michael's and the 1st Kim's
The owner Vin cuts hair at the first chair when you walk in. He's amazing and fast, thursdays and fridays are busy.
I haven't been to Vin's in about 12 years because I don't live in Philly anymore. But when I did go I used to go every week. Here's what I can attest to: The man is a master at his craft and has been working on it since forever. He's very soft spoken and a really nice guy if you take the time to get to know him, which I managed to, despite the language barrier. He's like a robot when he cuts, fast and precise. I'm glad to see that he's still in business and continues to thrive. Cheers.
Yo Troy riggins.if u ever got Ur hair cut there you would know these people barely even speak English and are about there work.no one cares about your review people care about the quality of cut, which is amazing for the money. So hate to tell you that EVERYONE probably will still go get their cut there regardless of your bad review
I have been going there since I was a teenager and I am always happy with my hair cuts. Vin and his wife are the best barber's in the shop hands down
Vin's has been my barber shop for the past 10 years. The prices have gone up the past few years, no more $5 hair cuts. A low fade will cost you $9, not sure how much the flat rate is. But the location is what it is, North Phillyesque. You'll probably be better off going early and don't bring your kids or your mom.
Good fast service and great price, but I noticed that they didn't sanitize the equipment after each shave, I noticed that some low cuts have placed cuts and scratches on the heads of customers and then continued to use the same machine on the next customer without cleaning it. I won't return.
