Voodoo Brewery & Brewpub reviews
16I used Voodoo Brewery to host my rehearsal dinner the weekend of my wedding. The staff was super easy and quick to communicate with regarding the catering menu and prices. The upstairs room where the party was located was very comfortable and had a cool atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of food including salad, pizzas, and pretzels which were all delicious! The bartenders were quick to serve drinks as well. Awesome place to celebrate any event! (Decorations were added by my sister)
Food was good, beer was good, quick service, staff was nice, and they have board games or cards to play while waiting for food! Neat ceiling of doors!
They were quite nice despite the fact that we showed up well after the kitchen closed looking for food. Lol
Kitchen was closed on the day we went because the chef was having a baby, but we went to McClure’s Fish House… HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
Went on a Sunday so food wasn't being served but the atmosphere and drinks where great going to make another trip to try the food
Great stop for lunch and craft beer. Their cheeseburger was among the best we have ever had! Great atmosphere, and the NEIPAs were excellent as well. Got a few to go cans and Voodoo swag for home!
On a trip from Oregon, best part of the trip, hands down. Excellent food and awesome beer. Try the Lacto Cooler if you like sours.
Great local place going corporate. Not on the "green" program yet with plastic cups and glasses. Great chef and decent help. Fun location. Kinda of the upper crust of area place at right time and college joint during others. Probably beat place in Meadville for gastropub snobs and the like.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was amazing, cooked to perfection and so flavorful. I can not wait until our families next visit.
I dunno. Those who downplay Voodoo as hipster must have never been to a true hipster joint. I'd call this eclectic, which also follows the beer line-up, which also isn't in the hipster vibe. What do I know tho. I just own my own microbrewery. I personally think Voodoo is trying to be too broad and should contemplate a focus. They do some awesome beers, but you can taste what's out of their natural range. Big miss in my opinion, is lousy kitchen hours. I brought a group of 10 in with me today, everyone hungry and eager to try the range of beer and seltzer, but kitchen was already done 3 hours before close. Everyone only had one as a result and wanted to roll in order to eat. If this works for Voodoo in the local scene, I cannot slam that. However, they should make it clear when the food stops so those of us making it a destination aren't disappointed.
Several IPA choices. All unique and fresh tasting with clean finishes. Don't forget to try their sour berliner Weiss. It's worth it.
Cool place. Food was pretty good. Beer really needs some work. Not at all a picky beer drinker and love all forms of IPA’s, but did not enjoy any of their beers as they underwhelmed. Went with a group of 4 and had 2 flights of 6 beers and had 3-4 decent beers but not enough to have more than a taste of.
The best beer I know. What a blast that Meadville sports this first rate brewery as a home grown business.
5 stars for Space Cadet alone! One of the best beers I have had, in my humble opinion. Unfortunately, I could only drink one (9%) but I did get a 4 pack to go! I also really enjoyed 37 Pieces of Flair! Very delicious IPAs. Great decor and atmosphere. Loved the old building charm. The bartender was knowledgeable and very helpful. I love breweries and this one was no disappointment.
Food was good but the beer didn't quite hit the mark for us. Usually we can find a beer we like anywhere. We will have to give it another try though!
