Waffle House, Lancaster PA

I hadn't been to a Waffle House in over seven years when I first came to the Waffle House on Dillerville Road. Coming in the helpfully handicap accessible entrance, the staff working greeted me warmly and quickly made my order. It was cooked to perfection, a taste I remembered exactly from far off in my home state. This is a model Waffle House: a truly five star experience for anybody who likes the chain or hometown diners in general. I definitely intend to stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Horrible customer service! They wouldn't serve us cause they felt "rushed" and we were literally one, out of 2 other customers there. They said they were very busy. And refused to clean a table. Which was literally moving one plate and wiping. Even after we spoke to the Manager, same excuses where given by the Manager. Manager never addressed the waitress attitude nor did he try to sit us at another table. I would give no stars if I could.

Got hired at this place as a server, dude who hired me was chill and nice. When I showed up for my first shift on a Tuesday the door was locked and nobody was there. Tried calling the store and knocking on the door and waited in my car for 30 mins before just going home. It’s been about 3 days since and still haven’t herd a word from Waffle House. Very disappointed

This Waffle House is definitely a go-to place for good food at a reasonable price (especially since all taxes are already calculated in the menu prices!), but depending on the time of day, the staff you encounter might be more snippy. Most of the people here are hard workers trying to get through their shift, but there's definitely a few that will make you want your order to go. One tall gentleman in particular definitely seems to dislike his job and everybody around him; earbud in one ear, no badge to be seen, calling all the shots from the grill while sighing and ranting at his coworkers, sometimes loud enough to go over other patron's conversations.

I love the food here; the waffles are always thick and filling, the hashbrowns plentiful, and the burgers well-done. I just wish I didn't have to feel like I'm dealing with dysfunctional family members when coming here.

I was here with my sister yesterday and the service was horrible.no one clean the counter for us so we moved elsewhere, also dirty.the server came and said oh I didn't see you there and cleaned it, I have back issues so I ask my sister if she can ask the server if we can move to a table instead.the server started having an attitude and cursing at us.she was very unpolite and very unprofessional.then she started tell us the dishwasher was broken and complaining about cleaning tables, that's her job isn't it.to clean tables.the manager try telling her stop and she got loud with him.he was nice about the situation but she was cursing in front of the other customers.very ghetto.it isn't the first time she acts this way in front of other customers.my sister and I left we didn't want to stay in a place where everything was dirty and wth a server with a dirty mouth like that.there was a couple outside that saw what happen and they went in and walked right back out. This girl shouldn't be working in the wafflehouse.she needs anger management.

All these are the same. Good food fairly quick. This visit was a slightly longer wait for a seat but that was only because there was a big event in the area.

I have always felt welcome at any Waffle House, but this location is always a favorite. The staff are warm and playful (and so are most of the regulars). The location is reasonablely close to multiple highways and freeways when it is time to hit the road.

Sweet or savory, the rest of the menu is spot on.

This was our first time here. The place was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Our waitress was friendly and really sweet. They don't have a lot of food options, but the food I ordered was good. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try!

Honestly, it was my first time at a waffle house as some of the guys wanted to go. The facility doesn't look the best but I enjoyed the breakfast meal that I had.

They don't serve takeout at random times. I walked in to a non-busy restaurant and was turned away for requesting takeout. If this is an established protocol, perhaps you should advertise is so people don't waste their time.

Great experience at this Waffle House. Meal at 11 o' clock at night was just as good as it would've been for the breakfast and lunch times of day. Lively employees and stellar consistent service.

You don’t say to a customer, “Thanks for… not tipping. ” (The lady actually said this.) I’m not here to subsidize anyone’s income. If employees are not compensated enough, charge more for food and pay them appropriately. If I get poor service and an attitude from the server, I don’t tip; if I get outstanding service, I tip well, as simple as that.

Best food around! Great service! There are waffle houses and then there is this waffle house! Great food! Best location around.

Really enjoyed the breakfast I got. Grits, eggs and ham were all cooked to perfection. In addition, the service was excellent and really friendly. I'll definitely be going back.

Very ghetto! Employees arguing infront of the patrons, the food had a hair in it and it was just a very uncomfortable experience. I love waffle house but this one is THE WORST ONE EVER!

Literally 10/10 service and food. I’ve been very skeptical of the Waffle House over the years but I will have you know, I’ve been missing out! Prices are nearly unmatched or closely matched to diners, but the taste is significantly better. Delicious waffles. Great bacon. Eggs perfect. Just all around really good. Would recommend! The employees have a really friendly, fun, work environment that I, as a customer, can appreciate. They work hard and it pays off. I really liked the food here & hope you try it out as well. I’ll be returning.

This Waffle House was nice. My friend said it was the best service he has had at any of the locations. The service felt like a family we were all just part of one big kitchen, and everyone in there seemed to know each other. The waffles are good. I also got the hashbtown, egg. Sausage and cheese bowl and it was yummy but I was a bit surprised by the price of everything.

Waffle House is always the best after a long night of drinking, but I am one of those weirdos who enjoys it during the day too. It’s not always the cleanest or the best service, but it’s comfort food at its finest. The only knock I have is that the waffles could be done a little bit more. They were a bit doughy this time around and an extra 5-10 seconds would be great. Same with the hash browns. Otherwise, it was solid.

Waffle House has very good tastes food and good cooks but it is not worth waiting 1 hour just to order food. Also the servers that were working at the time I went in are very unorganized they took others orders of people who came in after me while I still stood in line waiting to order 7 months pregnant and high risk and the remark I got from a worker was people who dine in get taken care of first which is 100% wrong and unorganized. I understand being short staff and that is why I didn’t complain in the beginning but as time kept passing and others was getting their food that arrived after me I started to get upset. Never going to this Waffle House again. I rather spend my money and good tips I give to those who deserve and this company do not deserve my money and their servers do not deserve my tips.
