Drug Store Walgreens reviews
6My 3 year old was very sick and I called countless pharmacies in the area for over two hours trying to find the medication the doctor needed to call in for him to feel better. The pharmacist here, Jackie, let me know that they had the medication but did not have the right dose. She must have sensed the urgency and worry in my voice because when I got off the phone with her to continue to call other pharmacies, she took the initiative to do the same and called me back less than an hour later letting me know she found another pharmacy that had it and placed it on hold for me. I was so thankful for her going above and beyond to help me. Thank you again!
Went to pick up a prescription and I was told that it be a few minutes. I was very Sick and asked if they could give me a time and I would have someone pick it up. The tech said sure and he would call me when it was ready. 2 hours later I had not received a call and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I sent my husband and the pharmacy closed over an hour ago. AWFUL SERVICE! AVOID
Best customer service. Called many stores helping to find someone who had our prescription. Thanks!
Update: It’s been 9 days since I received my Covid booster from Jackie and I still have visible bruising and significant soreness. I never had this issue with my two previous Covid vaccines. She possibly jabbed the needle too quickly into my arm at an improper angle and subsequently injected the medicine too quickly (which leads to bruising and a longer healing time.) I appreciate Jackie’s responsiveness to my appointment but I hope she didn’t administer it poorly because she felt that I was rushing her.: (
Original 5-star review:
This review is for the COVID vaccination process.
When I arrived at the pharmacy counter, the staff was obviously overwhelmed with phone calls and drive-through patients. I mentioned my concern to one of the employees, Jackie, that I was worried about being late to pick up my child from the school bus if my appointment was too late. Jackie immediately responded and she was so kind, organized, and proactive. It was an incredibly smooth experience— I wish all pharmacists (and all vaccination experiences for that matter) would be this easy! Thank you Jackie:)
Easily accessible location with ample car parking. It seems short staffed on the store. There were staff on the pharmacy but I went to pick up the photo and there was no one and came to front cashier. She quickly called over the phone. Staff immediately attended (after the call) me to get my stuff. Service was quick and staffs are attentive and welcoming. Other convenient and seasonal items are less stocked though and I could half empty shelves. But overall a speedy, quick stop for emergency medicines. They have a blue rhino gas at the location.
Absolute WORST. Don’t bother. Scheduled for a COVID vaccine at 8: 15pm, received an email 30 mins before appt that it was canceled. Called corporate who apologized for the cancellation, rescheduled for 8: 30pm, and advised to head to store. Arrived at store at 7: 55 to be told by the pharmacist, CL, that she was “26 Rx deep in prescriptions and wasn’t going to honor any appts past 8p. ” Apparently called her district manager who supported her decision. Turned away. Sorry that you are “understaffed and not allowed to stay past your shift time, ” but totally not MY problem! Total BS.
