Walmart Supercenter reviews
40 An online grocery order was placed for Downs Drive last night for early morning pickup, but my app was not updating to let me know if it was being fulfilled, if I had substitutions or if it was ready. I called the store during the pick up window and was told it was still
being prepared and that sometimes the app does not update. I started driving (30 minutes to store) and decided to call again since the app was not updating to make sure it was ready. I found out they didn't even have my order, there was a glitch in the system and it was still showing up as pending. I understand this, however, I don't understand why I was told it was being prepared when the store didn't even have my order in the system. This was a huge inconvenience. If I was told then, I could have made other arrangements for my groceries that I needed for a party today.
Poor customer service. Poor communication.
Rushed in to grab a few essentials we forgot to pack, and somehow managed to spend 65 dollars. Multiple self check lanes including some with conveyors.
I mean. It's a Walmart. Can't really go wrong. There's always lots of inventory and it's relatively clean and tidy. One star removed for their grocery pickup. This location seems to struggle with their logistics and leaves the employees understaffed for the demand. The employees are friendly and work hard but it's often faster for me to just do my shopping inside.
Asked manager if they could help open battery as it takes scissors or something else and she said need scissors and handed it back to me. No offer to help. Employee with her rolled her eyes. Will never step on that store again.
Just another Wal-Mart. Was easy to check out in the garden center. Let's face it-No one shops @Wal-Mart for an unique and fun experience but rather out of necessity or because of price for an item
They have 2 cashiers during the busiest part of the day. They don't pay me or give me a discount to check myself out. Never coming here again
As Walmarts go, this one is very nice. Due to Covid, some shelves have bare spots, but things are getting better. Staffing could be better during peak periods. Staff are friendly.
After waiting several minutes for a cart because there were none, I went out and picked one up in the parking lot with several other people, sanitized and cleaned it myself. There were no fresh bakery products on the shelf and it was 11AM. I normally shop at the west ridge road store which is a much better experience, with much friendlier people and definitely much better inventory.
Horrible. I always go to West Ridge and love it but I was on Peach so I went to that one. Filthy store, not well stocked, honestly will not go back.
The winery inside this Walmart is exceptional! I received courteous help choosing a wine that was fantastic for a special occasion.
This Walmart is usually pretty decent. Nice employees, very helpful and the store for the most part is rather clean and easy to move through. One downside is that everything is stocked except the toys. Blank spaces everywhere. Not sure if it's their fault as manufactures / China makes most toy products and Covid probably hinders timely production. So 4 and a half stars for this particular Walmart.
This is my least favorite Walmart
As big as it is, you can NEVER find an associate when you need one,
Only a handful of registers were open.
Getting in and out of the store is an absolute nightmare
Store well stocked. Staff on the floor very helpful and cheerful when I asked where something was located.
I did feel somewhat bad for lady in line before me. While she was being checked out, the cashier was interrupted 5 different times over her head set/ microphone thingy (Sorry for not knowing more proper name.) It made a perhaps 2 minute check out time A LOT longer. The lady before me stated she thinks she deserved the same attention the thing around her neck did.
Nearly didn't make it to the bathroom in time because an employee decided the front women's room was closed right as I got to it. He didn't even have the sign up yet! Never shopping at this one again!
I love how it has a Subway and a meat deli right by each other and on the other side of the store is a salon. It's like a mini mall that is just one big store.
Left a bag behind and came back to pick it up. They said I can just go up to the service desk and pick up. Got here and have to wait in an 8 person return line with one cashier while two stand nearby and shoot the breeze. Even asked that worker if she could grab and she said “she can’t find anyone. ” To hand me a bag that’s on the counter? Customer service isn’t a priority at this location. Go to Asbury.
If there was a -5 star button I would definitely give it to their electronics dept. They are rude and very unprofessional!
They have a great variety of items. Great customer service. Very fast site to store picked up service.
Compared to other Walmarts in the area, this one seems to have the right amount of lighting and wider aisles. My only complaint on small aisles are the ones in the personal care/bath body sections which tend to get clustered fast on Fridays and Saturdays. Their bakery is nice and they make fresh doughnuts and cookies every day and it always smells amazing!
Good store bad location. So busy. Hard to get into AND OUT OF IF YOU GO AT THE WRONG TIME OF THE DAY
